Hey guys,
I bought some JDSU today on Cramers reccommendation from Friday?
Any thoughts on where the stock might go and where to get out?

It's overbought at the moment but watch for it to breakout above $2.05. It could run to $3.00 or so if it doesn't pull back or start consolidating here. My analysis is that it will consolidate before breaking out and running to $3.00...

This stock is my HORROR story. Everybody's got that one that took them under the bus. This was mine. Back in the the tech bubble I held and held till it went down to 2.50. Do I hear the man jumping out the window? Good luck to any that see a future with this company. But who knows maybe it will go back to $155. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I bought it back when it was $6, thinking it dropped from $155! What a bargain, and ooops. But never sold it. Maybe it'll hit $6 again someday.

Cramer pumped it big time. He gave his reasons but I have no idea. All I know is when asked before about reverse splits his response was always SELL SELL SELL. Apparently the company has gone through extreme reorganization. Maybe a good opportunity for those with the stomach. But fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'll sit this one out and watch.
It's already up 4.48% in after hours trading... looks like those with the stomach for this will pay off tomorrow.

It seems everyone has had their fair share of horror stories with this stock...me included. I bought it around $30 and sold around $4. I might swing trade this one to see if I can make a little of my money back. Good luck everyone and congratulations to those who bought last week.

I bought it at $1.98 today.
My only question is if there is a reverse split, wont my 100 shares become 10, making it virtually worthless?
If someone could break this down for me, I would really apprecaite it.
Thanks

Yes your 100 shares will become 10, but the stock price will be $19.80 instead of $1.98, same value but watch out what happens when the 19.80 goes back to 3.00, then your 10 shares are only worth $300.00, too much of a risk unless you sell 5 shares once the split happens and let the other 5 ride.???? not sure on this one

I don't foresee the stock dropping drastically after the split unless there is something we don't know that'll affect the stock price. As Cramer explained the reverse split will benefit the stock in that it helps make earnings look better. The example he used on the show was JDSU reporting .01 earnings at the current price and .14 earnings after the reverse split. They can't round the earnings number up at the current share price because that's just how they report it. At the reverse split price the fractional earnings look like a 40% increase in earnings. Smart move.

Might be worth a nibble to position ourselves for Cramer's tech rally.

I'm not touching it above $2. Around $1.90 I like it, but higher than that I just don't feel too good about it.
