(1) Set up RSS feeds for such feeds as the USA Today style section, ditto, for the NY Times, etc--My favorite RSS engines are Yahoo's "My Yahoo" and Newsgator--but there are others
(2) My favorite Alerts come from Google, so if there is a stock I want to track any news on, I prefer Google to set an alert...TIP: you may find you want to set an alert on variations of the stock's name or Cramer's Alerts
(3) Although this is not free, you may want to take a trial run, because I use it often set at 50% to chew through the enormous amount of reading on everything I do--BECAUSE YOU WANT TO READ WIDELY AND ON MORE THAN STOCKS QUA STOCKS: http://www.copernic.com/en/products/summarizer/
(During the week, I copy a lot of summarized text into one Word document to read on the weekend--and calmly reflect on)
(4) Your library, particularly colleges and voacational schools, may provide on-line for free such paid reads as books and newspapers, e.g., the Wall Street Journal...TIP: if you have a kid in college or trade school, get the password, because you are paying for school, so get back something--Drill down into the libraries and see what great, FREE things/services you can get from your home
(5) If you do not have a laptop, get on eBay and buy you cheap nice one to use mainly as a reader...With mine, I can sit in an easy chair or other places and read on it as if it was my own newspaper
Do you have any tips on chewing through a broad "Homework" as Cramer likes--and, puh-leaze, not just stock crap sites? I do not need another stock site...I am looking for efficiency and insights I can bring indirectly to Cramer's World
