What another weird, wonderful, wacko-wacked out week on Tha-Street
FED raises the interest rate again, but the market goes happy for 24-hours!
Cramer takes a vacation at the worse possible time, but it figures
The more I enjoy Tha-Street and CNBC, the more I believe in the Chaos Theory to every damn thang
Jamais vu!
Here in Georgia, state politics, thankfully, grows nastier--(Dear gawd, puh-leaze, at their debates they go "Korean" politics and have fistfights, puh-leaze, puh-leaze, purty puh-leaze)--I particularly love it seeing a professional Christian Bible Thumper one of the more nasty delightfully mean spirits!
My county near Atlanta has opted to be the furst official Tree-Free County in the state, which is better than being another Bird Sanctuary county...I enjoy watching developers build more and more cluster over-price communities and people stand in line to buy, buy, buy--I will be so glad when the developers and whoring politicians nuke the mountains so we can have more cluster communities and box stores--a big booyah! for sociopathic Capitalism!
Wal-Mart is building its furst Wal-Mart City: people will be born in a Wal-Mart hospital, live, shop, make a living within the Wal-Mart bubble...When they die, they will be buried in the Wal-Mart cemetery...I thought this was a joke until I see them putting the finishing touches on this bubble and the city within...People are gah-gah about it!

I think of myself as a sarcastic narcissist, but I think you might have me beat.
Yea whatever. The WalMart bubble is f'n hillarious.
When will they offer the WalMart citizenship? My fiancee was wondering who we should contact to move in?

The average two-person family (one parent and one child) needed $27,948 to meet basic needs in 2005, well above what Wal-Mart reports that its average full-time associate earns. Wal-Mart claimed that its average associate earned $9.68 an hour in 2005. That would make the average associate's annual wages $17,114.
Well, I guess I'll take food stamps, welfare, and Medicade. I'm sure I'd be better off than I would be working at Wal-Mart full time.
Earnings are going down starting third quarter of this year because the consumer is tapped with the housing market. Energy and commodities is where all the action will be at this summer.

Consider this: Master Cramer may have us both beat! Good lawd, consider how much money he has made (and lost (BUT NOT AS MUCH)) with his cynicism, e.g., that "canned" show he had on Friday about the Basic Metals--pillaging the land and buying off governments by the Best of Breeds in Basic Metals...That show could be rerun till the Rapture! I laugh my behind off when my Master reveals the Secrets of the Wall Street Temple.
Today, Wal-Mart is becoming a village within as it offers more and more services, so the natural evolution is being able to live, be born, and then die with everyday low prices. I know I sure hope I assume room temperature with that "Zorro" Smiley Face swooping down and providing my family yet another Every Day Low Price. Oh, Costco is already in this market (http://www.costco.com/Common/CategoryMain.aspx?cat=20595)
Truth be known: you cannot be cynical enough fast enough :)

The question is does Wal-Mart offer it's "associates" stock options? (i haven't looked into it)
Why not put their money where their mouths are reward loyal employess with discounts for stock purchases and holiday bonuses of 1-10 shares for each year of consistant employment. This way employees can help control how the company works internally, since obviously they know first hand what the public buys, wants and needs more & less of.
Oh wait, that sounds like unionizing and profit sharing akin to workable socialism! Oops, we can't have that now...

Wal-mart CITY? You're kidding right? RIGHT?
Oh that's a good one Zyzz ... if'n you ain't pullin' my leg i'm seriously out of the
loop! and more obviously seems a lot of folks haven't checked out this little film
which i'm pretty sure Wal-Mart doesn't carry:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BTH4K4/qid=1151773921/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-5080654-8524639?s=dvd&v=glance&n=130
Oh well, everyone loves to try out new things, even if it ends up destroying their souls and quality of life. Live and learn as the diaper commercial says ((lol))

First off, we know how much our Master loves busted up unions, e.g., "cat," as well as, sociopathic behavior--if we want to make some, dahhhhhh, "mad money"
Wal-Mart by this time next year will be opening a new store per day; ergo, the new metric for Wal-Mart should be the same as applied to a convenience store, because within 5 years there will be a Super Dupper Wal-Mart on every corner--in ten years, there will be only the Wal-Mart Convenience mall, because all other convenience stores will fold...Incidently, expect India to sue for discrimination with so many Indians driven out of convenience stores and cleaner businesses
Wal-Mart has no choice but to go down--initially the first Wal-Mart Mall will be 4 stories down, not up...The test store here in Georgia will offer apartments...There will be medical offices for doctors who want to make a money the Wal-Mart way: volume...What is nice with this test store is above ground, trees and other greenery is being planted in the parking lot/park...
It is weird, but hey, if it drives the stock up that is better than a sharp stick in the eye, so says Master Cramer
Gawd, I love Capitalism even more than napalm in the morning!
