research with sec

I watched mad money on 6/26 he was giving info on how to do research on stocks I went to www.sec.gov like he said and typed in the stock symbol to find the quartley reports and balance sheets and got nothing can someone please help me I had no luck finding out anything on that site. Thanks I am new to doing research and investing in individal stocks:confused:

You'll get free access to most companies annual reports there.
