A rookie question, but how can check volume for afterhours?

or can someone specificaly explain this to a rook?

At 3:44 this afternoon a message was sent from the floor "TIE Market on Close Buy Imbalance of 78,900 shares"

Does that mean someone still wants to buy 78,900 shares, and no one is selling? Or is it that 78,900 more shares were sold to people today than bought by folks?

Order imbalance- A situation when too many orders of a particular type - either buy, sell or limit - for listed securities (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/imbalanceoforders.asp#) and not enough of the other, matching orders are received by an exchange. Also referred to as "order imbalance".

So TIE gonna get a big bounce because the maker has to find 80k sells? Investopedia also mentions that open orders are cancelled and trading is halted to give eveyone a breather... Does this make what i see as a gap up tomorrow more or less pronounced?
