Ike is brewing and could head our way.Louisiana in no shape or form can take another hurricane at this point. While most of the national media was focused on New Olreans dodging the bullet other parts of the state took a big hit.Personally i am grateful for losing only a side of my fence there are people who lost their houses.Living without power is no picnic either. Please remember us in our prayers!

I hope you were safe Supernova, I am back in baton rouge and it is devastaed. Most of the city looks like a war zone.Oaks and trees everywhere, some streets are closed and we are observing 10pm curfews evernight.I hope IKE stays away we won't be able to handle it.

All jokes aside, it is my sincerest hope that no further damage occurs to the folks down in the gulf states.

I'm in Lake Charles, LA, and luckily we didn't get much from the last one. Definitely not like Rita. Ike was heading our way and people were already freaking out. Now, it's heading towards the TX/MX border. I don't wish a hurricane on anyone, but I'm glad it's not La this time.
