Does anybody use a corporation to invest their money and how exactly would you go about setting it up to take the most advantage of tax laws. I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad a while ago and several other books from that series and decided to start my own business. I'm not sure if you can use a business to do just trading or if you can do that on the side for the business like most companies have liquid assets and such. Thanks for any input in advance. :D

i do...

just have to get your company incorporated, get an ein, get a state id if required, then put a newspaper ad stating you incorporated

if you want it easy as pie with practically no work.. i've used this co.. www.bizfilings.com

I do also... like the other poster said, you can incorporate for, I believe, as little as $150. But it's been a long time!

one issue is that some brokers wont accept a business made for the purpose of trading or investing...

so if you make a business... do something with it other than just trading :D

I did start a corporation a while ago, but I wasn't sure if you could use it solely for investing. The plan like WSE said was to do something with it other than investing like selling stuff online every now and then. I'm still in the process of learning valuable lessons in trading though.
