Analyst reports resources

Can someone point me to some good resources for analyst reports. I understand a report is probably only as good as its analysis and probably the analyst that wrote it, but would appreciate some pointers.

The thing here is that analysts work for the banks and brokers and if you want the analysis you probably have to subscribe to the service. One of the great benefits of using Thompson and Merrill has been access to their proprietary reports and the Morningstar analytics. Unfortunately for the average investor is the privilege runs around $2k per month. Also pricey but probably the best small cap analyst for the last 10 yrs has been Satya Pradhuman who was with Merrill and now leads Cirrus Research

That's just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.

E*Trade has research and analyst ratings for stocks as part of their platform and they have a consensus report on many stocks that I have found to be of some value, I imagine most of the brokers have similar services.
