A few days ago I thought it would test the lower bollinger band. However, it has reversed its downtrend slightly and actually has broken above the downward channel and heading up towards the MA(20) and MACD just crossing over. Look for a move to at least $5. Currently, $4.08

Ah the hundreth BQI thread!

Yes indeed - I bought at 3.90 a few days ago and watched closely. It's had nice consolidation action and oil prices too so I'm happy with keeping my position for quite a while.

Surely geopolitical issues put further pressure not only on the price of oil but on the need to find oil sources that are not in unstable parts of the world.

Still waiting for that day when they sign that partnership deal.

The fundamental downside risk is that the longer it takes them to find a partner, the more the likelihood of dilution increases in order to fund their operations.

i bought into this rub-hub a little over a month ago, haven't seen anything positive come about. I hold a small position in the Jan 09 calls @ 7.50. The company has been on a steady decline ever since i picked it up, i should have picked up the 5.50 calls, but at this point not even that is a lock

Starting to look and trade like it's old self today what with that little spurt at the end of the day. Looking very good short term but I'm holding long term for that deal. GLTA.

Longterm? Is this implying you won't begin to shed shares when it approaches $5?

Well no - this thing just trades like this. I've been trading BQI for years and it just does this at the end of the day sometimes.

Didn't see this kind of action when they doubled their reserves!

The beauty of technical analysis is that you're able to see future moves using indicators and oscillators and interpreting them correctly(the hard part). I alerted yesterday of a possible move of BQI and it happened today. I alerted NVDA a couple of days ago and it has moved almost $1 while the market had dropped over 200 points. I alerted DYN today and we'll see how it works out tomorrow. I don't want to sound like I'm patting my back, because I have also been wrong many times. I just want to emphasize what a great advantage technical analysis and chart reading can be.

What is the bible for technical analysis? I was at barnes and noble this weekend and there were too many to choose from.

It will go higher as long as it stays above its pivot line. My target was $5, but it may go higher if oil goes higher.

Wayyyyyyy to many T/A books, so start with the web. Just search for "technical analysis". Some good sites are Investopedia.com, Stockcharts.com, Incrediblecharts.com, and Prophet.net.

Eman, are you thinking of trimming this position as the ascent continues or do you like your entry enough to hold on longter? Call it a high quality problem but I don't kow whether to take the short term gains and try to get back in lower or to give em back for potential future reward.

Decisions decisions! I'll trim if it looks to be peaking around it's high especially if oil reverses down hard again. I like my entry though so I'll be keeping most of it for a good while.

They don't supply any oil to anyone yet.

someone might what to verify but from my observations with bqi, it usually goes down with oil but not up with it.

It trades up with it sometimes - sometimes it doesn't.

Fairly convincing selloff today at the open with little rebound throughout the day. Again, yet another reason I'm a longterm holder. BQI is erratic as hell.
