Happy Memorial Day all. I hope you all had a great one.
Taking the time to reflect on 3 of my great Uncles who have since passed of old age but survived WWII--one even went on to get captured in Korea and came home from that too if you can believe that. They were all really great people and saw action but never talked much about it. As a kid I didn't know how bad what they had to do was. But I was actually the first to break the family tradition of service :oops: --my Dad who served Army Air Calvalry in Vietnam for two tours talked me out of it with a half hour discussion on mass graves. After that I had a whole new respect for what my Uncles and my Dad did.
