WU, CALM, GIS and SKF (I would love to play with these :)!
Not in a hurry to gamble with stocks like ABK!

I like a lot of those but I think we will see apple stay up... and WM I think that is a complete coin toss... I could see a buyout with a huge pop but if that doesn't happen I think the 3.50 is going to happen soon... these next qtr reports from financial's is going to be very interesting. Also, yhoo who knows with there craziness what could happen.. They have the new board but I don't see them making any significant changes.

actually i think YHOO would be a coin toss. YHOO should have jumped on the MSFT bid when it had a chance, i believe it was at fair value. but to play, i like MSFT both on the technical and fundamental side. even without Bill Gates, i think the co does well and breaks out above 30, i wouldnt be surprised if we see 35 in the months to come
in my opinion, the only thing that should help WM head up is if someone announces that WM was being acquired. most likely a buyout would be under the current offer especially with a balance sheet like that

i dont follow WEL but i like FPP and PDO, FPP will move faster but i think PDO is a great buy for both technical and fundamental analsysis. i put up a post about it in my latest blog entry, check it out!
btw i heard you got smacked upside the head by AAPL puts, you and me both buddy... AAPL is due for a big pullback, i have a huge bearish outlook on it as you can see.. watch AAPL end up going to 160 this week... if only AAPL went to 175 on thursday instead of friday, i would have made out like a bandit!

I really haven't given much thought to microsoft but it does look like it has some good upside if they can keep momentum through the end of the year... I have had a play on intc.. I got some at 20.50 awhile back and it has been doing well.. I am trying to figure out if it has more room to go to 26, but the skeptics say it could drop to 19.

I have to respectfully disagree with the latter part of your statement. PDO and FPP are 50 million and 30 million dollar companies respectively. These guys are hardly big players and in what I have seen of oil and gas mergers in my day a 200 billion dollar comapny like BP or a 400 billion dollar company such as XOM won't hardly waste their time with something so small. Even the raiders at Abu Dhabi go after much larger targets than these two.
I'm not saying they aren't decent trades or perhaps even longterm investments - often times it's the small guys with the growth. But, in my opinion, to label these as legitimate takeover targets seems inappropriate. Can you site examples where similar firms have been bought out?
PS: kudos for sticking your neck out on the line and making your fearless predictions.

when it comes to buyouts, buying out small caps and mid caps are more likely than a large cap... if it s a large company than sure maybe a merger...
but look at companies like.. gateway, alltel, asia satellite, and a ton of all the little non-listed no name companies we hear about being acquired by the big boys like rad, cvs, etc..

It seems logical, it's just that I've yet to see such small cap buyout prognostications transpire in the oil and gas sector.

Stocks move up and down so his price will be reached now or later but that does not mean money is made
Don't you think WM was slipping out of BB so it will get suck down?
It did and also it went up because it went out of BB 20,3 (20,3 deviation not 20,2), so when stock price turns up (reverses) when it is out of BB reach it gets sucked up plus squeeze helps. Anti-gravity you can say ;)

I must admit when WSE first made these predictions I was very skeptical. Well, time and time again he has proven himself. Many people are brokers and traders in name only. Sure they have certificates and passed exams but that does not mean they are all good. WSE is the real deal. I was bullish on financials when he said they scared the crap out of him. Today he was proven correct. While things change over time he has always said that financials were very terrribly risky. Is he always correct? No. No one is. But he will make you money in any kind of market.

Again I say to that, Amen...Do we have an explanation still of why he was banned from this Forum? I second noob on that sentiment that this guy helped alot of ppl here. Maybe some saw him as being cocky or arrogant but to me that's what comes when you are the best at what you do, you become a target of some ppl. Maybe a few didn't like his style, but the truth is if you go back and search all the posts he ever put up, he has answered any question that was put up on this forum and answered them patiently and to the best of his abilities. No doubt he has helped ppl make money, ppl with his record are hard to come by.
If you are going to ban him I think you should ban his posts and the advice that he has shared with people throughout the years. That would be wrong if you banned him and still took advantage of his posts and examples on this forum.

No you don't. I have sat in the same room with him and traded, I have seen his methodology and watched his trades cross. I have seen him make money on up and down days.
You can definitely say he is very confident, maybe cocky and a self promoter, but he is a damned good trader, period. If I was gonna give my money to anyone I have met here so far it would be him.
Some people are just not cut out to be traders, or can master the technical aspects but not the necessary discipline. My bet is john is the former and can't accept that and has to blame WSE.
I think the accusation in his signature which is a felony for a registered rep. is scurrilous.
Since he is not here to defend himself let me say to you john, you are no WSE and as to being worth a dime you're 11 cents short.

WSE banned????? Sounds kinda ridiculous. Maybe someone would offer us an explanation why. He was nice enough to answer some of my irritating "newbie" questions and he definitely contributed a lot to the board....As I learn more and more, the more and more I appreciate his strategy of keeping it simple at least for markets such as these....
Disclaimer: Am in no way associated with his chat room and never paid him a penny.

WSE is banned? NO WAY, really? Wow he was so patient to all of my questions, which I served a large dish of, can anyone shed some light as to why this happened? WSE is a very bright individual who I definitely felt had a handle on things.

Whoa for Aiki to say that I know for me that holds a lot of weight, he is someone along with WSE I look up to and hope to be even half the traders they are. I know WSE for 4 months now, since I joined this forum he was one of the two people along with Net that helped me understand what it is that day traders do, he helped me outside of daytrading time to set up my charts properly to look at things properly and he even let me use his Stock Charts acct because I couldn't afford one, and for nothing in return. He never asked me for anything and for you John, after being in the chatroom with him and seeing first hand what he does, you should know better than to first knock his style or the way he trades and second to knock his business.
He doesn't care about you, because if he did he'd be here one way or another to to let you know what he thought. But his silence should tell you that he knows he is good and he could care less what you think of him or if me or Aiki defend him.
I defend him because I feel like it would be a shame to lose a trader as talented as WSE from this forum, no offense to all the other so called Gurus but besides Ken and Aiki I feel like there is nobody's advice in here I'd rather take than theirs.
You didn't have to say anything in this post John, you could've kept your mouth shut, but if you do know the reason why Ken was banned, please enlighten us. Rather than putting bull up on your signature. That crap that you put up was meant to be inside jokes among a brotherhood that we like to call ourselves in that chatroom, where we all make money and we all share our experiences and go through the same emotions, up or down. When you are starting off alone its nice to have that in this market, and its nice to know that you aren't the only one. For you to say the chat is a rip off is a lie because all of us have usually made enough in the first 2 days to pay for entire month of chat. Just because you couldn't trade options, or day trade doesn't mean you have to knock him, he did the best he could to help you even with all your annoying questions, and constantly saying after the trade happened that you would've done it another way. Well John its easier to do that once the trade has happened and looking at the chart afterwards. It takes something else entirely to call the trades before they happened and their exact price points.
No offense again to OTF chat but there are alot of paper traders in there too, alot of times I'll hear oh man I just made 100% on this or oh man yea I bought it at the bottom and sold it at the top and all that crap, well if you are a real trader have the balls then put your picks up, like Ken has done in his Fearless predictions post, look at it again, its scary how right he is. If you don't have the balls then please ask me I can lend you some of mine, no offense of course.
I would love it if everyone who has gotten help from WSE would share their experiences on this topic here. Share your experiences, good or bad. It would be nice to know he will be missed.

Why would I lie? Do I get something out of it?
I have his chat saved with me when he went on yahoo boards and talked BS about Steve Jobs. If you want I can contact the Corporate office of Apple and Legal team of Apple as well and find out if something can be done about such guys ;)
I have said what I have seen and what I have experienced on his chat, so rather than being defensive and taking sides concentrate on making money!

You lost your 90% of portfolio because of him so if he gives you some bones to eat don;t feel happy about it! You were the one who PMed me twice in private about WSE picks when you yourself lost confidence on WSE after losing.

I would love to hear from everyone who have different views than I have. There are lot of good traders on this forum like CG, Albert.....
WSE does not like CG(I have seen WSE being happy when CG goes wrong) so you did not mention his name but he is one of the best trader I have seen on this forum!
I understand you defending WSE because he gave you 3 installments to pay him as you joined WSE trade training for $7000!
Regarding the picks and balls. I think you are not directly pointing out to me and if you are then let me know so that I can shed some light on it!

Why would you lie? I guess it's an ego thing, you can't come to grips with your inadequacy and it's a way to make yourself feel better.
If you are in possession of knowledge of a registered representative committing a felony, and you do not contact the authorities, you do a disservice to the process, and the market. This is where the complaint should be filed:
https://apps.finra.org/Investor_Information/Complaints/complaintCenter.asp
This is the Finra Home Page.
http://www.finra.org/index.htm
Of course if you're just full of S**T as I believe, you can just do nothing and disregard this post.
I want to go on record that I am not defending WSE, but pointing out a forum member who is making accusations of criminal activity against WSE. I will continue to do so until I am banned, you remove the signature, or you file your report and prove your allegation.
I think you're a halfwit crybaby, and like a thousand others before you will be eaten up by the market, or more likely get sick of paper trading, and disappear, and the OTF will be better for it. That sound defensive to you?

"Its an ego thing" do I have or WSE while trading?
I think you are being angry the way you are writing your post. I don;t want to prove to you whether I do real trades or not.
I told you in chat too today that I am not interested in any complaint against WSE when you told me that he can lose his license.
I am telling what I have experienced in his chat. Regarding any criminal activity, I have the the chat so please..... anyway, I have written in my signature what is right. I am not interested in wasting my time by responding to you BS. Hope you sleep well!

Unlike aiki and few others, I really didnt "know" WSE and although I have been on this forum for a decent amount of time, I have never been to the chat room, so I guess in all this, I would be one of the most neutral observers possible. John, my question to you is, that if you have some information that proves that WSE did something wrong and yet are not willing to file a complaint regarding it, why are you hell bent on discrediting WSE by your signature?? The guy isnt even here to defend himself!!

Last I saw of WSE he was writing about Airline stocks when oil cracked.
I too saw the Russian run WSE off in chat which turned into a nasty thread.
There are a lot of people here that are good and helpful.
A few turn something into hype for their own personal gain to make a buck.

something like the VIX or Fibonacci numbers who would say I am right?
The over pricing in oil had no basis other than greed.

John, there are traders who are traders in name only. But they can't trade worth crap unless the market was a bull market. By now you have also seen there are doctors and nurses who are just that because they have licenses but they hurt more people than they heal. On the other hand WSE can trade in a bull market, bear market, or even when it goes sideways - and make money. Sometimes bad things happen but it is up to each individual trader to do money management.

Honestly, regardless of the situation, I think this matter should dissolve itself. The way I see it is that John bought a product(because thats pretty much what happened), that product was WSE's trades...Now, John was dissatisfied as a large number of people are when they buy products, and the product doesn't live up to their expectations. No matter what that product may be...but sometimes its not the product... its YOU...and sometimes its not you...its the PRODUCT. Now, if 1000 other people have bought the same product and have no problem with it...or if 1000 people bought the product and only a few are satisfied...
Simply put, are more people happy with his service, than not?
Lastly, purely from a business standpoint, this is Thierry's forum and WSE could have been taking members away...it is a possibilty. You can't generate advertising revenue if theirs no one to advertise to.
I for one don't know anything about WSE's chat nor have I been a client of his in any facet, but from what I've seen, he offers a product and its up to you to buy it or not.
