Is t+3 not required for margin accounts or are the unsettled funds borrowed on margin and charged interest?

if you have enough $ to cover margin requirements, then you dont need to worry about t+3 unless you have a margin call in which case you would need to come up with the funds in 3 days to cover the margin call or sell out the position which would result in a 90 day restriction

if the trade works in your favor and gets your under the margin call, you dont have to worry about it. sometimes depending on you rbroker, if its a small $ amount, you can negotiate them to cancel the house call
