Seems like most folks on here use scottrade. Interactive brokers seem very bare bones (and cheap!) TDameritrade seems like the fluffy one with all the bells and whistles. How about Fidelity? Etrade? What are some hidden fees, etc one might expect? How much do folks pay for level 2? Do you pay for level 2? Which broker has the most hassel clearing funds? Anything people want to vent about would be great, just figuring it had been awhile!

USAA Brokerage Services
I've been an USAA member since 1975, get instant execution on my electronic trades, pay $6.95 for up to 1000 shares and 1/2 cent each above that. Excellent customer service and record keeping for tax filing. Accounts can be imported directly into Quicken or MSN Money.
