Gents,
UAUA behaved quite well for the last few days (I personally think due to falling oil prices). Do you think its growth is sustainable and would it be an interesting investment mid-term?
Just dont get greedy with this one. I was up 10% yesterday, ended the day down 5%. Was up 8% this morning and sold for a 2.5% gain.

UAUA seems to be trading way too high as of late. LUV did this same thing and now even when Oil is down they still fall. if you're not going to be holding it extremely short term (only weeks at a time) or day trading it, I'd go with another airline to make money off of oil. I've been a DAL and NWA homer recently and since i bought one of the two over a week ago I have yet to have a down day with it.

DAL was also just upgraded to overweight from neutral by JPM. I plan on holding the one I purchased for about a month.
ALK has also been very strong the past month or so...if you're looking into the airline industry.

I have been playing the airlines for the last month or so.UAUA definitly moves well to catch a quick ride.Oil is getting oversold don't be surprised that it rallies and takes the Airlines down.I would suggest waiting for a good entry if you are considering it as an investment.
I think the crude inventories are out tomorrow if OIL drops this will reach $16 and then $20 very soon.

Yes, I am going to be trembling till tomorrow 10:30. I decided to hold this stock overnight and now I feel like it was my most stupid action since the beginning of the month.
Are there any major signs of oil trend for tomorrow? Asian economies are slowing, can be further drop in demand?

I'd say Asian economies slowing, Japan first GDP shrinkage all points to strengthening dollar which means more down oil. Tomorrow will be a big down day if I do say so myself. I've been wrong before but the Market (hopefully) will be high tomorrow and oil will be low. :)

Ok, my guts were right assuming that the oil would jump. But since greed was stronger I made two stupid mistakes in one day.
I am curious what would be the trend tomorrow? I reckon UAUA will keep falling but it can start from a nice jump up.
Is there a point to enter for a momentum or it would be too risky?

I have noted that UAUA normally moves very well in both directions depending on OIL.So short it if OIL rises which i suspect or go long if Oil drops.

If UAUA is on an upward trend for the day, watch out at 11-1 eastern time and you'll see that it generally hits its highest point during the day then comes back down but still ends up in the green.

Sometimes leaving you in dust waiting for a pullback. Therefore keep all the airlines on your scanner if not UAUA then may be LCC can provide a good entry point.

All airlines do that. I think it has to do with people waiting to see if oil's going to move up or down....that or people who short the airline after hours on day one in hopes of oil completely sky rocketing (like today) on day two, only to then cash out after it gets up decently.

Yeah, yesterday tilll mid-day it was following oil price quite close. Then after the oil hit its bottom and went sideways UAUA started to decline and I was even expected it to close negative. This stock seem to me have sharp ups and downs and day trading it is like surfing a tough wave.
