Did you use the open price from today or yesterdays closing price as the starting price? The rules state this game uses the open price but the final results you posted use the previous day’s closing price.

I did the math for a couple picks using the open price and the % gains are- (Using Yahoo.finance)

ANAD +7.60

AKAM +4.56%

Teckbubble is still the winner but you might want to post the correct final results.

Thanks for getting back to me in a respectful manner. This is my first time doing this.

I used the attached excel file to compute everything for me. It looks up the quotes on MSN MoneyCentral stock quotes automatically.

You'll have to install this to see it correctly.

I did not double check it so maybe something went wrong. If so, I apologize; howerver, a quick check shows they your numbers may be in error.

The excel sheet shows a false closing price because the MoneyCentral plug-in appears to be incorrect; however, the % change matches finance.google.com. I used the % change to sort.

Upon further review, you were right. MSN MoneyCentral stock quotes take the previous day's close to compute daily % change.

I'll get it right next time.
