RYE, N.Y.----GAMCO Investors, Inc. announced second quarter 2008 earnings of $0.51 per fully diluted share versus $0.63 per fully diluted share in 2007. Operating income before management fee of $23.8 million was 15.4% higher than the $20.6 million in the prior year's comparable quarter.
