Monday May 15, 8:42 am ET
SUGAR LAND, TEXAS--(MARKET WIRE)--May 15, 2006 -- Bloodhound Search Technologies, Inc. (Other OTC:BLDH.PK - News), announced today that it is now accepting a limited number of beta clients who wish to be the first to market with the company's next generation search technology. The company also intends to ramp up its development process to complete the design of its customizable second generation SIMS technology sooner than originally anticipated.

Bloodhound's SIMS portals are built according to client-supplied strategic information, such as keywords, press releases, industry descriptions or business plans. A customizable SIMS portal can continually monitor over 10,000 news sources and websites. It scans the relevant information sources 24 hours a day, and provides important news about competitors, industry, business opportunities, significant industry events, or any other news of strategic importance to the client. After retrieving the relevant information, SIMS automatically organizes it on a personal web portal page that looks like an online news website.
"The second generation technology will allow the user to create personalized search engines. The user can teach the Bloodhound-powered search engine what to look for. He or she can train their "bloodhounds" to report back with all available information by following anything from favorite sports teams, gourmet recipes, soap operas, local events, the arts or anything else you can think of," states John Abraham, the Chief Operating Officer of Bloodhound Search Technologies, Inc.
During the beta development stage, Internet companies that integrate Bloodhound's services into their sites would share part of the revenue from their users with Bloodhound through a revenue sharing program.
Bloodhound's revenue-sharing program marks an expanded marketing and sales strategy for the company. It is designed to work equally well with subscription-based and non-subscription-based websites alike. Subscription-based sites, like E-Trade (NYSE:ET - News), could increase their subscriber or client base by attracting new clients with the additional research capabilities that Bloodhound's SIMS platform provides. Bloodhound, in turn, would receive a portion of the upfront monthly fees from each new subscriber.
With non-subscription sites, like iTunes (NasdaqNM:AAPL - News), Bloodhound can arrange for an XML feed that should make these websites more robust. In this model, Bloodhound would generate revenues based on usage, such as visits or click-based fees. Website owners could use Bloodhound-powered features to attract new users and better retain existing users. Bloodhound could become a valuable tool for them to grow their market.
