Dividends Question

I use Scottrade for my investing, and I was wondering if the dividends that a stock pays goes into my Scottrade account. I also heard that you might need to contact investor relations to reinvest dividends. Thanks for your input!

Dividends go into the cash portion of your account. Scottrade doesn't offer dividend reinvestment, unfortunately.
