There you go, MADCOWDISEASE.
Nothing like a good earnings report to launch an improving company upward. If it's anything like last quarter, CNXT will not return completely back to earth for long.

...well, except for now...now cnxt is down below where it closed at today!
Man, sometimes I jiist don't understand this game whatsoever.
Maybe that's the extended hours scene playing out--if so, put me in the rubber room for a while so I'm not tempted to watch it.

I don't understand it either. They beat their estimated earnings and it goes down after hours. WTF? I'm still up on this one and still holding.

I've seen this happen before:
1. The stock price was already up 10 cents today and some of that, surely, was in anticipation of a good report. My guess is the fast increase after hrs (it zoomed to $3.90 when I first looked)....and subsequent decline, was anxious sellers taking a fast profit. Supply and demand at its best!
2. tomorrow the stock will rise

Well MG, sometimes I hang onto the stock for a day (or longer) and profit a lot more that way on something I bought simply for a quick earnings trade.
I kept PSYS (psychiatric solutions) for a few extra hours today and made 8% instead of 5%... which worked out nicely.
But with this CNXT thing---in skimming the fine print, now...I'm not certain the report is all that great. It says their loss decreased this quarter...and then I THINK it says their expenses increased??
If so, I've got to hand it to their team: It's pretty slick the way they write their press releases up.
Guess tomorrow will tell. Don't know if I can put anymore time into "financenanc" tonight as my real life is calling my name : )

It's called welcome to Cramer's next VTSS nightmare. I mentioned VTSS n CNXT and what would happen on the very day Cramer pumped em, which he did on da very same Completely Insane Money show in fact. Cramer put alot mo time into his reasons to buy than he did on his mention of VTSS on tonight's Insane Money. I guess that means hold. LOL

Wait just a minute. What is that you're whispering in my ear, Master Cramer, oh potent one?:
"When it feels like it's killing you... When it makes you want to whimper with agony at the thought...when you see a broken stock writhing on the ground but not a broken company---then it's time to do a 'MON BACK!"
Me thinks the time is near!

Cramer said:
The stock is up 200% on the year, so he said that it's no surprise investors are ringing the register and locking in gains.
The stock tracked higher in anticipation of a great quarter, and as Cramer predicted, it fell prey to profit-taking after it reported good results.
He said he would be an aggressive buyer, even though it may not be done going down. He recommended putting on one-quarter of one's position now, and then one of the remaining three quarters each time the stock falls a dime.
I bought in at $3.75 and down already 6% I hope this stock goes back up.

Thank you...I missed what Cramer suggested.
I haven't bought any new shares (yet) but sold my first "round" at $3.65 (bought last fall at $1.90)...and then got more at $3.67 (too high) because I was waiting for the increase following earnings.
What I wasn't astute enough to anticipate was the profit taking and this decline.
Oh well....the school of hard knocks.
Ya win some and lose some---but as long as we ultimately win more then we lose...... : )

I think this will make up fridays loss pretty quick. $4 a share within a week. Company issue upside guidance for q3 and reiterated their upside for the year.
I do not hold a pos in the stock.
