Hello, I have only been trading for about a week and trying to get the hang of it. I basically watch the news and try to make smart investment decisions based on the company's reputation and demand. I try to stick with tech and energy stocks since those things always seem to do pretty well compared to retail and financials. Anyway, since I am still new I am not sure if I should hold onto URRE stock for the longterm since I get nervous when I see that it is down $200 dollars. I am not sure how long it takes for stocks to pick back up since so far it looks like they gain $0.50 and then suddenly lose $2.00. I wonder if one day the stock will rise dramatically in a week or so or if I should get rid of it before I lose all of my money? Ironically all of the stocks I picked on my first day of trading had no loses and ever since then I have been losing money.

If you have a profit in this I would consider taking it, or at least reducing the position. You have a nice three day move on very high volume and today a close at open price ( Doji) which may indicate a reversal of this trend. Longer term I think you are likely to see upside as the weekly chart shows the recent move on volume while still being very oversold, Slow Stochs and RSI14.
We may have potentially put in a bottom 4 days ago, but I would look for confirmation over the next couple days before making a definitive statement to that effect.

i think if you want to do the uranium play long term, you have to do it right with cameco or rio tinto.. wouldnt you agree?

I do in fact, except for the fact that I wouldn't be playing Uranium. If I was bullish on it as a specific commodity I might play one of the larger miners with uranium exposure as you point out, but they are buys for other reasons. It's gonna be a while before the demand for Uranium is actual rather than speculatory.
