Pick a stock from $2.00 - $5.00 that trades no less than 100k shares daily volume that you think will go up in the next five days.

The challenge plays till fridays close where I will calculate who won and post it on the thread.

Rules

1. stock priced between 2.00 - 5.00

2. volume of no less than 100k daily. If a stock fails to meet 100k at any point in the week it is disqualified for the duration of the week.

3. entry price must be achieved during daily market 9:30 - 4:00 times (no pre market or after hour prices allowed)

4. no cramer picks from friday's show

5. one ticker per forum member

6. a ticker can be used once per challenge - if you want to use the same ticker for next week you must call it first after Friday's market close (4:00 est)

7. once an entry and ticker is selected and posted, there is no changing the entry or ticker.

8. entries for next challenge opens at Friday's market close (4:00 pm EST) and closes at midnight Sunday (12:00 pm EST)

Depends on when you measure it the 3mo Vol is 118,494. But if Boo doesn't like the fact it was a wee (ok only about 50k) on Friday I can always find something else. And FYI Boo this "dawg" as you put it isn't too bad, not one I would play in realy life but not too bad.

Doesn't that mean it would be eligible if it trades at 2 and then moves up from there? Like if a stock was 5.02 you could pick it at 5 as an entry point.

This is incredible and also vindicating for me, one who has been commenting about the obvious bereft nature of large cap coverage on this board. Here the DJIA is up nearly 200 points, 194.99 to be exact, and all of us and our penny stock crap can't even average out positive. Bittersweet.

Well this game is about $2-$5 stocks.

I agree with your comments about the under-representation of larger stocks but that's probably a symptom of the fact that these flat-line so much and this board is more about ideas for fast movers & shakers.

Often I'll try to start a discussion of larger stocks and it'll get almost no replies.

I don't agree that large cap stocks will make you more money if you trade but they will make you more money if you can't play close attention to the stocks you own, if you're too impatient, or if you turn a trade into an investment!
