You know I do. In reality, sometimes you are. Some of these companies are 80% owned by fund companies. You're totally at their will in these stocks. Other stocks you're at the will of Cramer and his "Pavlovian dogs". :)

When I am down I always feel like I am trying to play Whack the Mouse.....
I see it right in front of me, but just a little too slow to nail it, then another pops up and I might get a piece of that one, before I nail the 3rd one lol

Great idea....that way we can all ride the tech stocks down to the money!!!! LOL....
To be honest, I am looking for a nice 3 days without the market....should be a wonderful break from money....until I find myself doing screeners and staring at charts Saturday evening lol...

I may indeed go appreciate some nature this weekend, but only in the hope some hungry bear will mistake me for a rabbit smeared with honey.

George,
I love your sense of humor. Pavlov's dogs will be lurking for you. You'll go around a corner and you'll see 5,000 of em licking their chops. Cramer will be floating above you with a cape on ringing his bell.

It would not surprise me in the least. Now, if I were to go around a corner and not find a pack of murderous, ravenous canines... THAT would be a surprise.
Besides, there is no need for them to lurk, they apparently know exactly where to find me.

Yeah, me too.
Scottrade once again forced me to cover my short, not that I wasn't happy to get out of KRY. So, I shorted GRZ at $7.71. Looks to be going pretty well so far as I am only down $75 in the hour or two that I've had it.

You know what we need? We need a fourth forum, for miscellaneous posts about Iran, South Park, and this rigged three-card monty game we charitably call "trading."
No, seriously.
I was up today, though. Not by much, but after all the hemorrhaging my account's been doing lately, anything green is good.
I'd do better to open a margin account and start day-shorting. Without fail, every single stock I buy into tanks minutes after I buy into it. It's uncanny.
On another note, anyone watch "The West Wing"? I've been trying to find a down-loadable copy of that song "The Jackal" that CJ lyp-synced (synched? sinked? synked?) in season one. Can't find that bastard anywhere.

When they ask you the first question, answer enthusiastically. Tell them you're looking forward to serving your community.
Then say, "And anyway, if somebody makes it all the way before a judge, they must be guilty of somethin'."
The longer I'm in this game, the more I feel like a pawn.
The fact That Rumsfeld used to run Gilead. He left when Bush appointed him to be Secretary of Defense. What does running Gilead and being the top person in charge of defense have in common?

Exactly!
I had many plans along those lines for weeks. Then, my friend who served on a jury recently, said that you are stuck for the full two weeks regardless. If they don't want you on one jury, you go back to the holding cell until the next trial comes up. So, no matter how many times you get turned down, you're still screwed.
I guess with this in mind it would be better to get on a jury quickly and hope it has a speedy outcome.
Apparently, there is nothing to do while you wait to be called. You just sit there hour after hour. What would I give for a laptop and internet connection? I'd just sit there and trade while I wait.

Act up (crazy/racist/mad) if you're being interviewed for a big case. This way you can select which case you think will be over quickly.

I've just found out from my friend that this strategy won't help either. You are stuck for the full two weeks regardless. If you are on a jury where the trial ends before the two weeks are up, you go right back to the waiting room to wait for another trial. Wash, rinse, repeat!!!
Looks like I'm screwed for two whole weeks no matter what I do.
