whenever i go to bank of america, the tellers call some rookie broker who tries to convince me to try their instaquote system linked to a direct access platform that they have... has anyone here ever used it or heard anything about it?

theyre offering me free equity trades for 6 mos if i sign up and platform is free for 30 days.

Bank of America is one big disappointment ...
Also i wanted to say they have Smith Barney in CitiBank and one guy told me that commission from each trade is 70 dollars ;-))) Another guys said price vary... Than another guy started convincing me not to open an invesment account with even though i didn't even want to open an account with in the first place. Seems like bank deals are shitty,

thats because youre talking about a full service account... with most full service brokers, there is a minimum ticket charge
