Are you still holding KRY as a short? What do you think of today's bounce?
On a related note, what's your opinion of GRZ as a short? Looks overbought in a similar manner as KRY, and it's business appears to be almost a mirror of KRY.

Yes I'm still short KRY. I expected a bounce after 2 days of selling, but I don't expect KRY to close above $5.50. GRZ is a nice short. Can go down to $6.50.

I know I'm not the chart master and I'll be looking for your reply TCG. I believe this looks like a good short. The whole company has sold out of their position. There is still a whole lot of buying going on with KRY.

Thanks for your input.
I am really considering switching from my KRY short to a GRZ short. I was hoping that KRY would approach the recent lows in time for me to get in GRZ before it slides too far.

Something else I really like about GRZ as a short relative to KRY is that they have the exact same exposure to Chavez and his unpredictability, but they aren’t waiting upon a stock-boosting permit like KRY.
I hope I am not delusional and screwing myself.

That shameless Cosmo just pumped KRY for the second time today. His lemmings are going to overwhelm my short position and thus, my profit. I can’t believe I didn’t sell today around the lows.
George is getting upset!

I didn't see the show, but the "pump" hasn't done much to the price in AH

It has resistance at 5.85. Right now I don't have a huge profit on it, so I'll ride it out to 6.14. Shorts may step in again tommorrow and bring the price down. We'll have to wait for the open

Yeah, kind of seems pointless to cover tonight.
I knew a $1,000 gain was too good to be true.

We live and learn. Now we've learned that a good short lasts for 2 days. No big deal. We move on to other opportunities. Not to say that KRY still isn't. I"m sure if we scan for over bought stocks we can watch at least a dozen for tommorrow

Wait till Friday. This will be at 3.50. Gold has fallen off it's 595 support tonight. I see a sell off coming in gold stocks. What was that one you mentioned George? GRZ?

I like DSCO.
What's up with this DSCO?

It's going to gap up. It dropped off the planet of oversold, and it shouldn't make a comeback without us.

I have been following DSCO since Friday and was going to pic it for our challenge. IMO well over due for a pounce. But like someone said earlier bio's are off topic right now kinda like DNA.

What was that one you mentioned George? GRZ?

That's the one. The problem is that all my funds that I can short stocks with are tied up in KRY. So, I have to decide between the two. At this point, I am going into the morning giving KRY a chance to go back down. :?
Best case scenario would be a big KRY drop, I cover, and then short GRZ before it has it's fall. I know, I know, wishful thinking. :)
I really want to ride the SLS today, but my non-shorting funds have been tied up in ASTM since Tuesday and I am still hoping for some life there. Besides, stupid Ameritrade would make me wait four days for the settlement before I could buy again.
Does anyone else feel that there are a 100 rules designed to keep us small-time investors from having a chance?

Hang in there George, this be da last little run in da precious metal pigs. The top be in except fo a very select few of them (yer GRZ will trade to appx. 1.00 on the coming mid to long term collapse, KRY even lower!). That's what they are trying to accomplish with this rally. KRY is gonna tank along with the rest. Commodities in general are gonna tank in here which should set off the last Naz run to top out the handful of crap that hasn't topped out among tech. Then there will be no safe haven as far as a sector goes...cept fo homeland security of course. :) Da high is in fer KRY so hang in there. Look where you would have been wit AMR if ya didn't let em shake you out...and more downside coming in that pig of a stock too! *-)

Thanks for your take Booya. I sure hope you're right!
As for AMR, I actually got a pretty decent profit out of it, and am better off because I used those funds to short KRY. Also, stupid-Scottrade only had about $5000 worth of AMR shares to short as I recall so that limited my profit.
I would have loved to stay in my FNSR short until the $4.25 range even though I did end up with a couple hundred dollar profit there too. I had to cover because I couldn't meet Scottrades maintenance requirements.
