Anyone here in on this one? Just been reading about it and figured I would drop a line here and see if anyone is actually in on this one...

Nope, not in that one. I'll assume this is a play on rebuilding Biloxi, correct? I would at least be aware of the fact oil is high and gasoline is even higher and it's only March. I remember the gamers suffering last summer when gas was in the upper $2 range and this year we'll surpass that easy. I can't imagine casinos shelling out much capital when they are hurting due to the high cost of travel. Do what'cha want but I figured I'd offer the other side of the story.

Umm no..not from what I have read anyways...has to do with wireless edition of its Rapid Bet Live sports wagering product....

They are supposed to submit to the Nevada Gaming Control Board within 3 months...

I haven't really read anything about Biloxi and this company....not yet anyways..

The Company expects to file its annual report on Form 10-K within the 15-day extension period which was filed March 16th..

Here are some basic reads on it......its looks good to me, but who knows which way the Nevada Gaming Control Board could go....I am guessing they are as solid as the FDA regarding new products...

It has exposure, read here:

Progressive Gaming International Corporation, formerly known as Mikohn Gaming Corporation, is a developer and marketer of technology-based products for the gaming industry. The Company's worldwide operations are concentrated in three principal business segments: slot and table games, product sales and systems. The slot and table games segment develops, acquires, licenses and distributes its branded and non-branded slot and table games. The product sales segment designs, develops, manufactures and distributes interior signage, progressive jackpot systems and related electronic components, as well as special order slot and table games, and slot game glass displays. The Company also provides related support and installation services. The systems segment designs and develops electronic player tracking, game monitoring and accounting systems for slot and table games. These systems are sold or leased to casino operators and governmental agencies.

And for that reason I think it goes lower. Maybe it doesn't happen tomorrow but it is a possibility when people start to forego vacations and Wall St. realizes it.

Hmmm interesting.....

The Company is unique in the industry in offering management and progressive systems, and games as a modular yet integrated solution. There is a Progressive Gaming International product in virtually every casino in the world

But I definately see your point......I guess I am looking at the fact that the people that travel to Vegas/AtlanticCity/Mississippi and other Casino destinations are the kind of people that go for the fun of it/getaway aspect, and not the type that will forego the trip based on gas.

I am thinking that the gas prices will have families cancelling trips, with amusement parks (i.e Six Flags/Disney/Waterparks)probably taking a big hit, but not the average gambler who is looking forward to those slot machines they love so much every 3 months....

I definately appreciate your insight on the matter, and its definately something I need to think about it.....

Quite surprising, I can't believe I got feedback on a forum for a non-penny stock LMAO...

You can bet the gambling addicts, say Pete Rose, will still be there. If your catalyst is the Nevada gaming commission approving their stuff you could very well get in and get out before gas and cancalled trips and vacations becomes a talking point on CNBC. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

Hmmm, well I see someone had the same questions I did, and called Cramer today about this stock.....

From what I gather, Cramer didnt say yay or nay, just plugged competitor IGT as the best of breed.......

So should I probably expect a mass selloff tomorrow...or will it not have much effect, since IGT is trading at triple the price of PGIC?

Looking for some recommendations here.....kinda getting caught with my hand in the cookie jar here by Cramer...

Thanks

That was Cramer's cousin. He posts on the Yahoo boards too.

The downside to this seems more dangerous than the upside. I guess if the trend continued, you could get in on the momentum with a .10 trailing stop.
