If it was a buy yesterday, it's a double buy today. Oil price is going up while UPDA is finding oil, but going down? This stupidity equals a double buy.

I bought a little today on the dip under .18 and will hold it just like i did with POGI as it is a matter of time before it runs imo. Did you hear T Boone on cnbc talking about 100 dollar oil again. Oil is going higher imo alot higher and so are the metals

I lifted this off another stock forum BB:


I just wanted to share my opinion. After doing some DD on this stock it seems as though there is a pretty consistent chartr pattern forming.

Basically, it has a fake spike every 3 months and then a real one shortly after.

Now look at this weekly chart.

Notice how the MACD has been getting closer and closer to positive. Also look at how it is oversold yet it made a tiny spike the other day.

IMO the real spike will begin by Tuesday, and this one may be bigger than the last two due to the fact that the MACD is about to become positive. Aside from that, the company seems to be making some nice strides. IMHO, this could easily double next week.

The first production of Texas Energy, a load of 150 barrels, was sold to Sunoco from the Nantz lease. Texas Energy will be paid for this crude oil within 45 days based on the spot price of West Texas Intermediate crude on the date of delivery. I hope it's still low on Monday.

wait a second. I don't doubt it for a second that the chart looks phonomenal to you. Can you at least TRY to justify what you are saying for the rest of us. Otherwise, it just sounds like you are pumping this stock. Few other posters in this forum has the same attitude. After a while, I just started to ignore their posts. Read ChartGuru's posts. Notice how he justifies everything he says.

Roy, I understand what your sayin', but the bottomline is, I can't do everyones homework for them. I have a hard enough time gettin' my own DD done. I give a heads up on potential picks with a little information to go along with my pick, if you like it, play it, if not, don't play it, lot's of choices in the market world. I can only give so much of my opinion on a potential play and as you probably already know, playing penny stocks is risky business, no guarantees no matter what anyone says, not even ChartGuru (as much as I respect the dude). Playing stocks is a lot like poker IMO, the more you play this game, the better you will get at it, but always be ready and willing to lose some of your investment in case your play crumbles.

I totally understand doing our own homework part. And I do that too. I am just refering to the part where you say: "The chart looks phenomenal, a big move is imminent". What exactly did you see in the chart that I am missing? As I said before, I know that you just don't pump your stock here, and I have made money from your recommendations. Some sort of justifications, when it comes to charts, would just be way more convincing, that's all.

No problem Roy, I appologize if I wasn't specific in regards to my chart analysis. What I am excited about is really just the patter of the chart, you will notice this immidately. It looks very poised to run and today was a healthy day for the stock, seems we have a strong support in the $0.17-$0.18 range. I expect much stronger days ahead for UPDA, be patient. A solid PR on financials and/or oil production would help this thing run no doubt.

I'll try to be a little more specific next time.

UPDA its about time for this one to get going. Needs to get thru .19 if so i will be adding and looking for .27. Long term i think its better then POGI and pogi finally got going last week and had a great run. Look for upda to do the same thing just don't know when it will run. ERHE is the best of the pennys imo and wont be a penny stock much longer. Hope to see news this week on the signing of 2 more blocks. Good luck

UPDA Petroleum Trading, Inc. Acquires Storage Facility and Testing Equipment - Prepares To Execute Final Contracts and Receive First Delivery
Monday April 3, 9:10 am ET

LAREDO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2006--Representatives of UPDA Petroleum Trading, Inc.(a subsidiary of Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation) (OTCBB:UPDA - News) met on Friday in Brownsville, Texas with representatives of Procesadora Industrial Petrocemica, S.A.D.C.V. in order to finalize the terms of their agreement for the acquisition and daily delivery of crude oil condensate produced by Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) (www.pemex.com).

Procesadora Industrial Petrocemica, S.A.D.C.V. presently has the exclusive authority to sell condensate produced by PEMEX.

As a result of this meeting, UPDA Trading has arranged for the lease of a storage facility at the Port of Brownsville at which UPDA trading will receive daily delivery of the condensate. UPDA Trading has also acquired testing equipment to be utilized to determine the quality, specific gravity, sulfur content and viscosity of the product upon delivery.

It is expected that the final agreements will be executed at the parties' next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 5 and that the initial delivery will be received by UPDA Trading before the end of this week.

Nothing really went wrong, just the usual profit-taking. The last pop only lasted a day as well, so I'm not all that surprised. UPDA will bounce big in due time. I think we need an earnings report, we need to see money is coming in. UPDA is a great company and longer-term players will be rewarded. Be patient!
