I purchased in @ 6.66 and i made a few observations. NCOC went from $7 to $6.40 with less than 30k shares traded and it took about 375,000 shares to go from $6.60 to $7.14. Someones definitely loading up on this stock and it could be the next jrcc. With energy prices rising coal is going to just get more expensive as time passes and NCOC will raise in price. There was also a large block brought after hours. On May 27, 2008 350k shares @ 6.20 and let me remind you that this stocks 3month average volume is around 200k shares daily. Its forward p\e is extremely low and hopefully its a stock you guys will take a look at.

i just looked at the chart and that 350k volume rally looks like the novices running in. whats the news on the huge volatility? overall it looks like itll pull back to the $6 or lower
i did see the svp exercised options but sold off his shares 6.75-7

I think this ones done for a while, the only way it'll heat up is if it turns a profit, or releases news in regards to some advancements its made in order to better position itself to exploit the coal demand(the news could be a myriad of things). Otherwise it doesn't look too good if the company doesn't profit during an industry boom. I really wouldn't see the logic behind buying it now.
JMHO.

It may go up monday, but if theres no news Monday or Tuesday...I would expect it to drop. It can't continue to experience consecutive gains for no reason.

Its gaining momentum. $10 by end of june imo.

Looks like its in a stage, don't know if its 1st 2nd or 3rd, Guru could elaborate on that, It'll either gain Monday, drop Tuesday and continue sideways, or simply drop Monday and continue sideways.

MrSR - It looks like the moving avg. is looking better. It got a little scarey around the 28th. Look like a possible trend reversal but it came out of it. I think your right, looks like you got into the stock at the right time. I'm not sure about the $10.00 range but I would say getting up close to $9.00. Good Pick! Wat do you think GURU?

Fun little fact todays volume was the most NCOC has ever seen in a days wroth of trading.
MrSer

Its still going highest close it has ever seen was today @ 7.67. Stock has plenty of room to go and if coal prices continue to rise and demand rises this stock can easily see 20$ by years end. This is the next jrcc imo.

Really nice pick Mr. Ser. I'm sorry I didn't play it with you. I'm assuming from your comments that you still think it's a great play though? It's just been incredible in the last month though - surely needs a pullback. How are you valuing this longterm?

I believe the demand for coal from India and China will propel the price of coal higher and I believe the 09 earnings estimate of .98 cents a share could be as high as 2.00 a share if the price of coal and the demand increases which I believe will. My price target for end of 09 is $20+. The only thing bad is the debt. I hope it does not sell shares to pay off the debt. The other good thing is it is going to get into the Russel 3000 by June 27th. This and ticker ICO is a sure bet in my opinion.

Was an awesome first half. I added more to position. Cramer has a piece on coal tonight and analysis's increased their outlook for coal. This stock is a sleeping giant and MM's bring it down for big institutional buyers. The people with patience will be rewarded.

Little tip. Whenever buying this stock wait till around 12pm-2pm that is the time usually when volume dies and mm's bring the price down.
