I have a quick question regarding Ford (F) stock, which is currently trading around $7.10/share. There is an offer by Tracinda Corp, owned by Kirk Kerkorian, who is looking to purchase up to 20 million shares of common stock at $8.50 per share (a potential gain of $1.40 per share), in order to increase their ownership in the company to 5.5%.
Is this offer valid for shares owned prior to a certain date, or is it still possible to purchase F stock, and take part in this tender offer? :D
