On today's one year anniversary of Jim Cramer's Completely Insane Money I think it is appropriate to look back on Jim's worst and best call of the past year. Of course opinions are always welcomed! :)

Jim's worst call:
2 days after New Orleans flooded he said natgas was going to 20.00 as it traded at 17.00 at the time, he loaded everyone up on the natgas stocks and those fokes will not recover from their losses until Jim says to sell CHK. Of course when he does say "SELL" CHK instead of "DON'T BUY" CHK it will be down an additional 30%+ from current levels. :)

Jim's best call:
2 day's after New Orleans flooded he said natgas was going to 20.00 as it traded at 17.00 at the time. This gave the smart $$$ an opportunity to load up on natgas future and natgas stock short positions! :) Of course there may be those who want to argue that dumbo Jimbo's calls which establised tops in the semis, homebuilders, internuts, or retail stocks were equally as good as the opportunity he presented us with in the energy plays. I'm just glad he is starting the year off with a bang by diversifying his flock of idiots into the fiber optic plays. Thanks Jim! And BOOOYAHOOO! Hmmmm....YHOO, yet anudder great Cramer call! LOL

The guy drives me nuts, however Boo, I have seen you rip a lot of plays but there seems to be a dearth of recommendations emanating from your quarter. Where do you stumble upon those stocks that meet with your approval ? I know there must be SOME method to your madness. ( No slight intended)
Energy .......bad
Fiber optics .......bad
Telecoms .........bad ?
Tech in general ......bad ?
There MUST be some segment of the investment community that you like at the moment ? What would that be s'il vous plait ??

Well, I was close ta likin da goldies until they premied. So I guess that leaves me with the one sector that should be flying right now because of the way everybody says we should be beefing up our homeland security...yet find a homeland security play that isn't trading near a 52 week low! I guess that's because everyone is feeling secure about da job Dubya and da Republican Congress is doin with our homeland security. *-) I listed a bunch of potential long term plays. May as well add TBUS to da mix. Jist waitin fo dat one to break below 1.13. I also like the U.S. automakers, especially F. But I had to lower me entry tawget on it from 5.50 down to 5.20. And dats da top of me entry range. :)

I just have to say his tie was effing ugly, and the sad thing is I've seen him wear that one before. The only excuse is maybe his kids bought it for him, and if that's the case I feel like an a$$. Also, I know he's short but damn, just bring the skinny end down a little on your tie dude. It was hanging past his pants today.

All of these be gittin close, ALAN, IPIX, TBUS, SSPI, STKR, and the one that will cause da playas at this site multiple cases of severe whoopsaw...CDSS :) You can see these dawgs already startin ta make initial jumps in anticipitation...and I'm not even sure anticipitation is a real woid! Would you believe that someday IPIX will take out the high on the 3 year chawt? Go check out da 3 year chawt befo you answer....even though I know yer answer is gonna be NO WAY! :)

What's " whoopsaw " and in this case is it whoopsaw to the upside or down?

Don't forget one of Jim's ugliest calls.....Sears holding...

Whoopsaw means that when it is up like it was last week fokes will be comin ova heeeya and screamin "WOOHOOOOO!" which means da fokes who buy da woohoo will be sayin boohoo in bout 5 mo trading days. Then you rinse and repeat till there are no more woohooers and only boohooers. Then I buy. :) Cramer purty much forgot SHLD but now that it is in da process of confirming all tops befo da big crash n boin I'm sure we'll be hearing from him soon. As usual, da mawket in general and SHLD in particular will need Jim to put it over the point of no return. That's his sole purpose as a stock picker. *-)

Yes...Yes... I was one of the newbies that took to Cramer and jumped on that Sears recommendation. Not a lot, since I was just starting out...but OH MY GOD! Needless to say, it didn't take too long before I got hip to the game/scam - THANKS ENTIRELY TO THE FABULOUS CONTRIBUTORS HERE!

I find it quite ironic how this site, which appears to be a Cramer fluffing site, has a forum that contains LOTS of bashers!

Anyways...BOOOYAHOOO! are you telling me that SHLD still has not reached the basement? I have still been hanging onto this position in hopes that I could at least get my mulah out - maybe I'm still a newbie?! I actually prefer a romantic! HA!

If I remember correctly, SHLD still needs to trade through 135 befo it crashes and boins. But crash and boin it will in a big way. I see it is up big this AM on earnings. I guess that means like 15 people actually bought sumthin at K-mart this last quarter instead of the 10 that bought sumthin last quarter. And of course it is still one of Cramer's redickyoulost "land banks" :o

aiki14 - you don't say? See, that would be all fine and dandy, but when I reference buying SHLD, it was roughly a year ago at somewhere in the $149 and change area! But now that you mention it, I just looked at marketwatch.com and saw that Sears' "quarterly profit more than doubles"!

Am I actually going to get my money out of this one? It has seriously been about 1 year that I have owned that anchor!

Is that patience or what? For those strategist's - was it stupidity? More than likely because that money could have been used elsewhere to make some real cheddar!

Live and learn!

I would be stunned after 135 but I'm sorta stunned now after 125 so who knows. One thing holding back any real confidence is the same store earnings year to year are actually down 5% and that is a limiting factor for me. My stop is at 127.21 at this moment.

Just goes to show...the "enron factor" is still alive and well on Wall St. Especially when ya gots a slick hedge fund manager runnin da show like Eddie Lampert! LOL

As in Oh My God. shld to 132+, up yer stops to 130.68. Seriously, there is no way to legitimize this level.

Hey guys.. Long time lurker here but this has perked my interest. Technically for the long term this thing looks good as it just blew out of it's long term price channel between 115 and 125 on the chart. This gain just seems a little reactive and to what as far a fundamentals. Definately looks like a decent pullback can be expected, perhaps time to load up on some APR puts? Boo, I am curious why you feel this puppy will "crash and boin" in a big way when if it takes out 135.

I believe 135 and change was the last remaining nonconfirmed top on the way down. Basically, whatever the high is for this move will be the high that will need to be taken out now. Ad I'm not even sure that 135 was the one from befo. I do know that in the end Eddie Lampert will end up being investigated though....but that's just my opinion based on da history of how fokes got screwed with the original K-mart stock. :)

I'm out at 131.60. Looks like the fall back is under way. Boo said the top would be 135 and he was pretty well on at a little over 133. Amazing stuff. Bet we see 125 for the close today, 120 before the end of the week. Buy again at 117 Boo? Or 112?

Nah, I'd play the other side and short at the top and then hold until da pig files BK...again! LOL
