First of all, i've been reading this forum for quite some time and only now do i actually have something to contribute... But b4 i get to that, i would like to give a long overdue thank you to CronicDLL for putting me onto the stock that single handedly funded the trip i recently took to Asia.

so, down to business, saw this stock on another forum the other day, i think i am going to put some decent cash into it. The stock is TDCP.. seems like theyre doing some pretty cool stuff with holograms and junt. I think the stock right now is probly due for a little pullback here sometime (from profit taking etc.), but that did not stop me from grabbing 1/2 of what will be my desired final position today (just in case it does not pullback). Anyways, i think right now the company is in a bit of waiting period while they wait for some patents to clear or something, but after that it is on!!! I guess i'm just trying to put you folks up on this one so u can (hopefully) make some money with me.... plus gettin some more people investing in this never hurt either. I dunno, check out the website, i would love to see this baby hit $10 one day:

and this is some pretty old PR on the co.:

COMPANY NEWS AND PRESS RELEASES FROM OTHER SOURCES:

3DIcon and University of Oklahoma Focus on ''Elegant'' Holographic Technology; Recent Research Launches Development of Unique 3D Display System; Workable Prototype Anticipated by Summer, 2006

TULSA, Okla., Oct 27, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- 3DIcon Corporation (Pink Sheets:TDCP), a communications development company, announced today that University of Oklahoma researchers have designed a unique 3D display system from a combination of emerging technologies. "We believe OU has achieved a genuine breakthrough, and a lot sooner than we had anticipated," said 3DIcon CEO Martin Keating. "This should advance our plans to commercialize a technology that could vastly expand the way the world communicates."
Philip Suomu, 3DIcon's director of technology, added, "OU's design is an innovative and elegant response to a complex challenge. It appears the OU team is on target to produce a workable prototype by next summer. We expect to be able to begin phased marketing efforts soon."

On July 15, 2005, 3DIcon and the University of Oklahoma entered an expanded collaborative relationship, following OU's successful completion of a six-month analysis of existing holographic systems. Researchers determined that 3DIcon's goal of a simple and portable 3D technology was achievable within existing scientific parameters.

3DIcon Corporation is a development-stage company whose mission is to create and market full-color, 360-degree person-to-person holographic technology that is both simple and portable. Such a system could revolutionize or replace all existing forms of electronic communications, including television, telephones, and personal computers. This "next-generation" technology should be well suited to such industries as construction, transportation, healthcare, education, entertainment, financial services, and the military.

Also, they seem to have relatively few shares outstanding which is kind of good thing and a bad thing.... means it is more likely to move in bigger jumps, etc. so take that into account while youre looking at this. later folks.

Yet another new member who's been readin the forum for a while, touting a pink sheet penny stock...

Gonz
03-13-2006, 11:02 PM
Well, to be fair, he's done his homework, and he's referenced a thread that's been off the front page for a while...and in the interests of full disclosure, a stock that's been the darling of my portfolio ever since I bought into it (XSNX has gone up 200% since I took my long position).

So welcome to the boards, Spliff.

Mr. Spliff
03-14-2006, 02:55 AM
i dont really care if you invest in the stock pierre, i just thot it seemed like a good pick... in fact i specifically said its a little high right now and its probly due for a pull back.. but ya, i'm probly just advertising.

u wanna talk about some other stocks..?? i'm trying to get into some transportation stuff, maybe a railroad pick and maybe an air freight pick, got any advice? would this have been a better 1st post?

Pierre
03-14-2006, 08:18 AM
You know what... I just spent the last 5 minutes typing up a response and just figured what the hell, I really don't care what you pump, tout or hawk...
Good choice, everybody buy TDCP, it's on the pink's!
Good Luck, Guy!

Mr. Spliff
03-21-2006, 09:48 PM
so ya, i guess i was wrong about it pulling back... got some nice news b4 it could settle. Lucky for me i decided to keep a true long vision and filled the other half of my shares at .35 as well and stuck it on the back burner. But ya, i def do not think it is too late to get in on this one.. Again, i imagine there will be some profit taking after todays jump, but i guess i could be wrong again.. specially since i am just touting, hawking and advertising here, right guys?? But if it pulls a little, i will likely throw some more chips on the table for this one cuz i'm gettin all nervous and **** that its gonna break out. One of the other things i like about this stock from a purely technical stand point is the long steady growth of it.. not too many big dips and jumps, especially for a stock with this few shares outstanding. Also some big companies (i think toshiba and hitatchi) are saying this shits gonna revolutionize the industry and blah, blah, blah.. So ya, just waiting on these patents to clear (which, no, i have no fawking clue how long that might be) and hopefully i will be visiting some more dope ass countries.

You think of any transportation picks to advertise to me yet Pierre???

Mr. Spliff
03-23-2006, 12:11 AM
well, looks like i was wrong again... biggest jump so far today. i guess maybe tomoro it will pullback?? it did come in quite a bit at the end of the day today, so i dont really know when to get some more of this one... Now while i can?? I'm trying to be patient and wait for profit taking but i think most people have the same mindset as me... long term. Anyways, did anyone else pay any attention to my "advertising" or am i the only one holding this gem?? Pierre, did u just put it in your watchlist, or did u buy? hehe.

Mr. Spliff
04-04-2006, 04:35 PM
just wanted to keep ya'll (pierre) updated on my advertising scheme... so 3D finally broke a dollar today.. i'm actually pretty bummed cuz i never really took a chance and re-uped some more shares, mostly because it never pulled back more than 8% or so... but i guess i cant be greedy. Maybe tomoro it'll have an off day and i can grab some more.. i guess my strategy at this point is to never ever sell my base shares that i got down at .35 (well, maybe i'll think about it at around $100 per share :)), but just keep adding to my position on dips. It seems like we're finally getting some pump and dumpers (or maybe just some folks taking 5000 of their 10000 shares off the table) today as it spiked pretty hard early up to about 1.50, but i still think most people in this one have the same mentality as me which is to hold forever and just add on dips.. and with such a low number of shares outstanding, us super super mega long positions can probly keep a nice steady rise with this one (i dont really care for the huge spikes like today) up until they begin marketing (this summer i believe??) and them patents clear.... then we can break out the champagne.

Anyone else in this one???

.. just me i guess.

its okay, i like talking to myself...

and i really like listening to myself talk to myself about making BIG money.

of course there is always that stupid pessimistic voice i hear sometimes talking to me about the downside and possibility of losing all this money that i havent technically made yet... i dont like to listen to that one as much.

Mr. Spliff
04-06-2006, 09:46 PM
so i think we're probly in a bit of a consolidation phase here... if you were thinking of getting in on this one, sometime in the next couple days to a week might be a good time.. today was the first "pull back" i have seen in quite a while (all be it only about 6%). i re-uped a bit today and will be watching closely for some more red with this one. I would be much more comfortable with some nice stable flat days here for a bit.. i do not want to get caught up in any pump and dump BS which can fawck with you psycologically. Anyways, thot i would throw out the buy opportunity for anyone who has missed out on all this fun. Just by "small" blocks (maybe 500 at a time) as it falls (if it does). I really think most of the people in this one are in it for the super long haul which is why we arent seeing too much profit taking.. i know i'm not letting up any of my original stash... but that dont mean i wont be buying on dips so i got a smidge to be do some swingin with. Peace out.

Ok.........well, Mr. Spliff, it seems we have started off on the wrong foot. In the name of ethnic diversity, the bringing together of cultures, the triumphs of the human spirit, the destruction of racial indifference and the promotion of peace and harmony in this one world, not to mention the building of friendships both here and abroad, I humbly seek your forgiveness for labeling you a " pumper "... I have met many a " Pumper " and you Sir, are no " Pumper".
I applaud your efforts and both admire and appreciate your stock prowess. In the Spirit of a truely " Global " economy, I ask that you continue your efforts and wholeheartedly seek your valued picks and more important, your vision, concerning companies that are contributing to the elevation of the Human Spirit!
Your efforts confirm the ideas of leading visionaries of the past : that together, as one, we can and will change this One world that we live in.
We owe it to the past, we need to continue for the present and most importantly, for future generations, we, together as one, must continue to press on...

^^^ i cant help but notice a small note of sarcasm in your tone pierre...??.. nevertheless i will accept your offer to put our differences aside for the sake of all of mankind and for the hope of world peace, etc, etc.... Another 40% day today doesnt hurt either.

but ya, this is about the strangest stock i have ever seen right here.. i know a great deal of the recent growth of this is purely from new investors (certainly some pumping and dumping too) and has essentially all been based on hype.. but i really do think that once they get some product out in the world and patents are cleared, $2 per share will be laughable. i guess i'm just trippin cuz this has been shooting up so hard recently i am just pretty much bracing for a major pullback here, but at the same time it seems that may not happen either... i really dont know too terribly much about straight chart analysis, but maybe some of you technical savvy members can take a look and tell me your thoughts on this stock based purely on the numbers... i am resisting all urges so far to take profits but maybe that is kinda stupid?? Anyways, congrats to anyone else who got on board this one with me. latez.

Great pick, Mr. Spliff. Out of curiosity, is your screen name taken from a "Simpsons" episode?
In regard to TDCP, I read your post on 4-4 and followed it over the next couple days. After getting burned a number of times in the past with stocks that were or had recently been penny stocks, I chickened out. Missed out on a 2-day double!!
Way to go! Keep the good ideas coming.

Mr. Spliff
04-13-2006, 04:58 PM
well, it finally happend.... i've been wondering when and i guess today was the day.. fantastic opportunity to buy more tho, or for anyone who thot they missed their chance to get in on this one.... if we did not have a holiday tomoro i would say wait one more day b/c i would be expecting possibly another pullback, but since we will have 3 days to let the dust settle a bit here, i grabbed myself another 1000 shares...... of course i am still reeling from the 1000 i bought the day b4 at 2.50:cry:.... ughhhh, i hate bad decisions. But i do want to tell anyone trying to get in on this one, I and many other people in this are in it for the super long haul, i would not reccomend trying to make some short term junk off this one unless you think u r very good.. specially b/c this stock is reacting like almost none i have ever seen. If u r in this, just keep the long vision, we will see many more 100% gain days and many more 50% drop days.. just stick this baby on the back burner if u have to and come back in a little while.. the company seems very good about not releasing any bullshit PR, so when they do we will see more green than I have seen even to this point. I do think a lot of today was panic selling from folks who bought in at the 3.20 spike cutting their losses. I also think what happend today was relatively healthy (despite what your acct balance might say), and we will now see a nice steady slow climb back up to $2+. I am hoping everyone who wanted to take their profits did so today, and that the motherfawking Market Makers are done collecting their cash on this one.... for now.

The quote I was thinking of is from the episode, "Marge vs. The Monorail". I never can seem to remember the fake name Mr. Burns uses and thought that your screen name may be it.
Here is the quote:

Neither TDCP, XSNX, nor SPZI are anywhere on that list.

Again, you protest. :?:

Let me reiterate, the people that are lured into scams (which are generally penny stocks) need to be aware that they can lose their life savings!

I must ask you, why do you INSIST on a new thread? Why is it that you do not want me to post information about scams in this thread? Isn't this thread about penny stocks?

I am being serious, and would appreciate an honest, adult answer.

:?:

Mr. Spliff
04-13-2006, 09:56 PM
^^^ ummm, i think he insists on you starting a new thread because your post has absolutely nothing to do with this one.. just a guess.

.. and ya, maybe b4 u continue to spam all over everyones threads you should do just a little bit of research. i know its asking a lot, but if you could just take the time to type TDCP into your preferred online trading brokerage (or your favorite search engine), you would notice that this particular stock closed today at 1.50.... despite the fact it was down almost 40%. Pink sheet stock?? yes.. penny stock? not since i bought in.

Gonz
04-13-2006, 09:56 PM
Fine.

No, this thread is not about penny stocks. This thread is about a company called 3DIcon Corp., which is not a penny stock, and which is not on the list. XING is not a penny stock, and it is not on the list. None of the threads you've posted that list in are about stocks that are on it. And not all of the stocks on that list are penny stocks. Wells Fargo, for example, is trading at $64.65.

But to answer your question, here's why you should start a new thread: If I don't own any SPZI, and I'm not about to buy any, I'm not going to click on a thread entitled "SPZI, wtf???"

I absolutely applaud your desire to be helpful, and I think you're being helpful. (Except when you accuse people of things, but that's another story.) But in order to maximize your helpfulness, your warnings need to be read. And I guarantee you that if I find a thread on page one the title of which is "Don't buy into any of these shady companies", or "Hear ye, Hear ye: If you don't want to get screwed, read this thread", or "Here's a list of shysters and snake-oil salesmen you need to watch out for", or, simply, "WARNING!!!", I will read it. Every time, without fail.

And rather than write back bile-filled posts in 18 point bold type, I'll probably thank you.

SWFseeksM4LTR
04-13-2006, 10:19 PM
your post has absolutely nothing to do with this one..

you should do just a little bit of research. i know its asking a lot,

Actually I DO do research. And no, it is NOT asking a lot. Grow up.

My post has to do with the fact that new investors need to be made aware of the scams out there, whether they be penny or pink. (my bad for not clarifyng that!)

A small handful of people protest RATHER LOUDLY when all I am trying to do is help others.

Now, I must be off to start a NEW THREAD entitled "Penny or Pink? What's the Difference?"

LOL!

Another good deed done for the day. I, once again, will sleep well tonight.

But to answer your question, here's why you should start a new thread: If I don't own any SPZI, and I'm not about to buy any, I'm not going to click on a thread entitled "SPZI, wtf???"

I think my post was in reply to the poster's question. If you already noticed, the other "thread" is buried so darn deep that not even chinaman could find it.

Again, only a handful of people protest when I try and help the new investor out.

As Thierry already mentioned, all you have to do is click the little button on the left and ignore me.

hmmmmmmmm
