IPI Options

As we know, ferts sector is one of the leading (hot) sectors this year. IPI did its IPO last month, and its options commenced trading last week. I took the risk of buying some June 50C options (IPIFJ) at an average price of 2.35$ last week. Today it hits 3.5$. Hope it will reach 7$ at the end of this week.

How could you bought IPI Sept 08 70C at 4.0$? This option highest price up to date is 2.7$.

Maybe you bought Dec 08 70C?

This stock has performed very well this week, especially today when POT experienced selling pressure. IMO, once resistance 54$ is broken, this stock will be flying.

My June 50C options have a double now. I will take some off the table in the coming week, and let the rest for a free ride to next month, and may close it after earning report on June 2.

Next week, I think IPI will bring some positive surprises to investors.

Some investment banks may also upgrade/initiate IPI after the 1Q earning release.

Today IPI was running crazy in the late afternoon due to Jim Cramer's promotion...

It has been a rough ride for this trade...I closed my position today with a profit...

I should have hold until today for my second 10 contracts of IPI options.

Once my option is in the money, I should let it develop to its full potential.

I missed two 20-bagger opportunities in about 2 weeks... (One is IPIFK from $0.4 to $8, another is MTHFH from $0.7 to $14)

Lesson learned.
