Pick a stock from $2.00 - $5.00 that trades no less than 100k shares daily volume that you think will go up in the next five days.

Select an entry price (like a market order), the stock must trade at that price within the next 5 days for your pick to be activated.

If the stock price gaps over or does not trade at that price during intraday swings you are not qualified.

The challenge plays till fridays close where I will calculate who won and post it on the thread.

The reward is yours to keep! The experience of fine tuning your ability to select a stock that is going to go higher. ( and that is cash in the bank for you) and of course bragging rights that you won..

Rules

1. stock priced between 2.00 - 5.00

2. volume of no less than 100k daily

3. entry price must be achieved during daily market 9:30 - 4:00 times (no pre market or after hour prices allowed)

4. no cramer picks from friday's show

5. one ticker per forum member

6. a ticker can be used once per challenge - if you want to use the same ticker for next week you must call it first after Friday's market close (4:00 est)

7. once an entry and ticker is selected and posted, there is no changing the entry or ticker.

8. entries for next challenge opens at Friday's market close (4:00 pm EST) and closes at midnight Sunday (12:00 pm EST)

SIRI, I'm willing to bet he on ta somtin. deez guys got somthing like 780 mil in there pockets, 3 satellites orbiting and one on the gruond (just in case) although they havent made 1 cent yet there outlook is 1 billion a year, and with over 900,000 subscribers it is very realistic. so you say 7 twinky five I say 7 fiddy I'm in @ 4.90 and I'm happy wit dat, I'll follow it down and if it hits 4 you better believe I'm backin da truck up, filler up!

Well as far as I'm concerned Mel's Car's Missin is jist anudder huckster, jist like the ole CEO of SIRI cept dat de ole boss was a confirmed liar...and I'm wreckin Mel's just a sneaky liar. :) But da story be da same. As long as da sheeple believ...there is always a chance. So as long as dey never get down to dat last "grounded" satellite I guess she's got a shot! Jist be aware dat there be no chance that SIRI will see 9.00 befo it sees 3.00! *-) So you bees playin a stock in a downtrend. Personally I "might" look to enter in da 4.50ish area, but I'd prefer to see er get salamied all da way sub fo! With sentiment turning agin SIRI I SIRIously doubt it would survive a steep overall mawket correction. :)

I do know that sumday SIRI trades to .50 centavos and XMSR is a sub $3 dallah dawg. Subzero be not far from .50 centavos so in da case of SIRI it could go out wit da twist....or an idiot company might come along an pay too much fo em befo dey even git ta .50 centavos....kinda like GE goes around buyin up chit companies anna payin too much. So likes I said...anything can happen but da long term chawt say SIRI will qualify fo entry at da sub 1.00 dawg track. I still bees tryin ta figure out what I might run ova heeeya at this track. To anser yer queschun...I'd rather live one day as a lion instead of long time as sheeple cause at least I know dat when da day is done and I'm done there is a chance I might come back as sutton reallly good! Nothing but goofups this week. Meant to pick bmhc for my middle stock in the monthly, with stp earlier for small and goofed. Now I have picked asrv which doesn't stand a chance of meeting volume, which I neglected to check.

menace I had the same problem a couple weeks back where if I had picked the open price I would have won the game but it gapped up and just kept running and I didn’t qualify. I don’t recommend using the open price if you are trading stocks with real money but since this is just a game and there is a chance that you won’t qualify it is safer to use the open price.

It was a day where choosing was bad for several people. On a day like today that started out ok, bouyed by the telecom news, and then nosedived, several people got added in too high. Today's big winner though went up too much for that to matter. Can GTE hang on for a whole week????

Looks like AVNX is going up to confirm the top set on the open, up to 1.57 in AH trading. Lots of udders in the same sector too. Could this be yet another case where Jim Cramer set the top in a sector like he did with homebuilders, energy, semis, internuts, biotech, retail? Answer: Yep! :) After this run the following stocks will begin their journey back to or below the 1.00 level: JDSU, CIEN, DVW, AVNX, NENG, MRVC, there are lots of others too. If AVNX takes out yesterday's 2.67 high before a retracement it will be trading at 1.75 at the close on Fri, with a shot at 1.25 if this happens to be the 1..2 Black Fri...Blue Mon combo week which is forthcoming and unavoidable at this point. :o

Ummm, if you had a tawget of 2.68 for SGU you haven't qualified yet. Da low for SGU yesterday was the opening 2.70. That's da bad news. Da good news is that you will get 2.68 befo da week is out. I mean that based on da chawt it looks like the one on da list that offers the best opportunity for a 40%+ gain. The 2.90ish high is gonna get taken out at sumtime in da future. It is deeply oversold but maybe not that oversold since OBV is only at -500K, I like to see it at -1 mil minimum. The 2.28 low from yesterday needs to go. If this thangy broke below 2.00 you would probably be skeeeered if you trade like yer ave investor.....when you are skeeered....I'm interested! *-) :)

Yo! Yer gonna git yer 2.68 on SGU today, jist like I said ya was gonna :) If I was you I'd make sure you take it to 2.68 and not 2.65. If ya git ta 2.65 you may not be able to get back above yer entry price! Then you will have to be considered as a candidate for worst performer this week! :o

Oh yeah, if GRWW was up 12% yesterday on 80K shares you may want to check and see if it qualifies for disqualification! LOL If it can't trade 100K shares on a day when it's up 12% I seriously doubt it trades 100K on a normal day. And I think there be a volume rule for entering this competition. :)

Well, now dat PCQuote.com is back up and running and I can get a better looksee at things since those chawts are the ones I use to establish important price points....I'm afraid I'za gonna hasta lower me entry zone tawget on MOVI to 1.50....and that's the top of me entry range! :o But who knows? If you've ever noticed, most of me picks tend to stage a premie rally before the last wave down to my new and improved tawgets....and 2.00 is still da bottom of the range based on my last opinion. Let's see if I can stage a quick turnaround befo da final fall. Of course my timing is gonna have to be impeccable with 2 days o'trading left! This mawket is setting up ooooooh so nicely for a "sucker em" into Black Fri scenario. Luckily for everyone here, I am gonna be correct bout my purrdixshun that a huge market fall will be a 2 day event (I say Fri n Mon). Here comes anudder Fri....let us pray together....shall we? Hmmm, definitely not a great entry for me on MOVI, I was correct about da tumble but me entry tawget was waaay too high. Of course I never know if it is or isn't until the price gets closer to me tawget....then I make the adjusto if necessary. But I may get lucky and it runs to 2.55 major resistance and holds steady before it comes all the way back down and takes out yesterday's 1.68 low. If da mawkets turn ugly today and MOVI gets caught up in da nastiness my bankroll can take anudder 40% hit! Pretty ugly results at da track this week, but then again I'm sure nobody figured dat da mawkets were gonna get ugly this week....well, almost nobody. :)

Lots of good signals on da 10 day chawt including 2 consecutive selloffs after 2 consecutive sell signals...dat's bullish, it is actually still in da buy mode even after yesterday's retracement....dat's bullish, OBV waaaaaaay down there at -50 million even as the price moved from 4.70 to the Fri closing price...dat's bullish, Jim Cramer just abandoned it.....dat's MOST bullish, nonconfirmed trend top at 5.85 and a questionable one at 7.25....dat's bullish, it gapped up off the Wed low on Th and filled da gap yesterday....dat's bullish. You might have to think twice before burnin' ya $6300 bankroll on this one 'cause everytime I saw opportunities for it to go up, it just never did. I'm glad I sold before it went below $5 to stop the bleeding. :wink: You're probably better of shorting this one than going long lol.
