Hey whats your opinion on the Uranium companies such as Titanium Uranium (TUE.V). Is this a potential goldmine in a world dominated by the oil tycoons? Share your thoughts on this. I would like to see other views on this subject.

Long term, you have to be bullish on uranium.. there's simply no way around it
Do you trade on the Canadian exchanges? That's the only place I know of where you can find alot of uranium miners.
In the US, you're limited to CCJ, and some junk like USU and USEG

CCJ looks pricey. According to thestreets.com it's current P/E is 70+. A lot of other ppl must be betting on uranium too. I've considered this stock but need for it to come in a lot to give it a good, hard look.

And for those of you that say look at the forward P/E, it's only March. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Come October forward P/Es are valid but March? Settle down.
That's similar to these car companies coming out with '07 models in friggin March. All in the name of competition I guess but sh!t sooner or later we'll have the 2010s out in 2007 at this rate.

I have only 200 shares of Titan Uranium TUE.V but it is in its infancy. The company has some good ideas and the drills have just begun operation on one of their sites. It will be a while before the stock reflects profit. I agree with the bearish approach because the oil guru's I'm sure will not like another idea mustling on their turf.

Did the title of this thread get changed too? I had one that was just ERTS, and now it is a pontification that ERTS is going up. I thought this one was just "Uranium" and now it's "Uranium a potential goldmaine". Anyone know what's going on?

I profiled Jim Dines in show MMM-007. He is the uber-uranium bug. Says he recommended CCJ years ago and still does.
