i've just been recently introduced to this company threw a friend of mine, he invested what sounds like a serious chunk of change into this company at the end of jan this year at .20cents/share and has held onto it since, and has been pushing me to buy some now for the last month. i've looked into it, read as much about it as i can find, and it seems pretty solid. i think the own something like 11/12 props across Ontario, 3 in newfoundland, holds 34.5% of Coro Mining Corp. (COP-T), which i've looked into quite extensively as well and seems like will single-handedly push Benton into a entirely new platform in a 2-3 yrs with its massive copper find (2 billion lbs)and its gold estimates (1.3 million oz's) & projected production over a 16 yr period (open pit) after completion of a feasibility study in 2010. A number of Coro's directors were previously involved with FIrst Quantum Minerals (FM-T) and played key roles in transforming that company from a junior developer into a +5.0B producer. You may read this and ask why shouldnt i just dump money into Coro, my reasoning is nothing good can happen to Coro that does not benefit Benton whereas many good things can happen to benton that do not benefit coro. My friend has been talking me up about this stock for awhile and he seems to think it will closer to $2 in just the next 3/4 months, so i've broken down a put some money in, but the more i research this company the more i feel it has the potential to do great things, and i feel the need to put more into the company, a more "serious" investment and i just wanted to reach out to the comuinty here and ask you, fellow investors thought about this company, i would appreciate any and all feedback. i beleve Benton is currently awaiting assays back from two props they just recently completed drilling one of which the found a I.P anomaly on, and went to the location indicated and they recovered a surface sample around 500gpt on said anomaly and 900m front this surface sample they were picking gold right outta the sand with samples hitting highs of 5.1gpt(possible open pit). Not to mention the fact they just picked up a HUGE prop in the timmins area right in the center of a gold mine producing bonanza. i would really appreciate the communtiy looking into this for me, i think im going to go in long and hard on this one 2-3yrs and i would like a little advice or comments on what people thing, plz and thx.
