If the Judge was going to rule in favor of RIMM he would have FRIDAY. Think about it... that would be the easy and less controversial and ground shaking thing to do, if he was leaning that way he would have ruled that way instantly. The fact that he said the things he did to the RIMM attorney's, and gave RIMM maybe another week, shows that he's going to force the injunction, possible partial injunction, but an injunction none the less. And it will HURT RIMMs stock price. I'm in IT for an extremely large company; third largest on earth in our industry (100,000 + employees) and we are ready to switch to another PDA sollution with-in a couple of weeks! Now that's a fact. And if we're ready to pull the trigger on BB I know others are ready too. RIMM put itself in a lose lose possition at this point.

Another large provider ready to dump BB.
Also note one important thing the judge said friday... http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=newsOne&storyID=2006-02-24T175416Z_01_WAT004951_RTRUKOC_0_US-RIM-JUDGE.xml
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

RIMM's stock price is going to fail big time eventually no matter what happens. And if there is carryover buying into PALM in the case of a ruling agin RIMM then get ready to short PALM also. The bellweather stock for all of these "hand-held device" pieces of crap is actually AAPL. All 3 of these pigs are headed for single digits eventually. Right now technically RIMM needs to trade to (and possibly through) 75.00. To be honest witcha I didn't follow it at the 52 week high so perhaps it needs to be retested. All I knew when it was trading up here last time and Cramer was pumpin it is that it has a looooong way to fall and the fall will get very ugly (potential 10-20% down days) at times.
