Why I Like It:
ASEI appears ready to break out a 5 1/2 month long base, and the timing couldn`t be better as the nation`s focus appears to be on Port Security, at least for the time being. The stock was up on double its average volume on Wednesday and we`re expecting a breakout in the near term. A breakout move should carry the stock to $84.00, minimum in the near term.

$74.95 is the all time high.. if that is cleared, it should trigger some "buy the new high" type buying
i have a target at $84.00 on this one

Something is up with this one.. Maybe Cramer will mention it tonight
I don't know..
but I'm seeing some BLOCK TRADES on the long side here
When a player buys 10,000 shares of a $77.00 stock on a big down day in the market
Well.. that's STRENGTH
and something has to be up.

Like what do you mean by that. Good or bad? I like it going up b/c it is helping me, but do you think something crazy is going on and it might drop.

I mean something is up as in GOOD
Ie, either a news release coming or a mention on Cramer's show.. etc
Someone knows something.
That's why I saw a couple block trades (10,000 shares at once) coming in as buys on this stock
That's 3/4 of a million bucks in one transaction... and there were a couple of those on the long side today
You dont' drop that kind of money into a stock that is up on a down day without KNOWING something
In my humble opinion
Hold tight and add some at the close, if you can

Ok awesome. I am holding tight with what I have. I will try to get some more at the close, but I doubt I will be able to at its price. I did get alot though when it was at 72.58.

Wednesday March 1, 10:01 am ET
BILLERICA, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2006--American Science and Engineering, Inc. So you think it will be able to reach 84 before selling it?
BTW, if it does hit $84.00 tomorrow, I'll see 1/2
That was my original target and that is what I'm recommending in my newsletter,
www.swingtradercentral.com
Eventually, though (next few months) it will hit $100, however.

Wouldn't it be awesome to be him? Put some money in a stock, and then say something good about it when someone calls him about it. To know you're going to do this...wow. It's fishy.

I got out @ 88.50 back on March 3rd. I wasn't so sure it would keep running. You had said your target was 84 and I was hoggish and didn't sell any. So I put a sell limit at 88.50 and when it got there I sold and took the 22% gain.

Yeah, well $84 was my short term target, $100 my longer term.
I got out with 1/2 at $84, but then ended up adding more on the flag breakout a week or two later
Going to $100 on this leg
at $89 this morning and climbing
