BRCM 3-2 Split...

I am kind a confused about this whole spilt thing, owned some shares woke up to see the price dramatically drop down to 44 from 67.I thought it was supposed to be 3-2 split but the number of shares I own are still the same?Kindly can some1 shed some light on it.

Same thing happened to me when BBD split. I don't know what online broker you have, but with Scottrade it takes a day to register. The stupid part is if you look at the chart of your portfolio it will have a major crevice where this glitch took place. The opposite is true for special dividends. I have a huge knife sticking up when I received the AMTD divvy but the share price didn't drop right away.

Rest assured it will correct itself. There's just a delay.
