what kind of gain are you looking for with this one TCG? Thanks in advance.

I don't quite understand why you think LOUD has done going down. When I look at that chart all I see is the possibility of it going down to 0.40. Could be wrong but it looks like a bit of a "catching falling knives" exercise to me.

Concur with englishman. I bought in at .38 a while back and sold at .50 on the way up. Wish I wouldn't have.....lol

LOUD may very well keep going down. I'm looking for a bounce today from the MA(20) on the pullback. Looking at its 1 minute chart, it is now consolidating at its MA(200) of .61. If it doesn't breakout out of the MA(200) it will selloff, so I'm watching it closely. It's in a real tight bollinger band squeeze.

Uh Oh. Granted I believe TCG knows what he's doing, but if you have no idea when to hold or sell other than what he tells ou to do I hope you start praying. Not that I'm a religious person, quite the contrary, but it seems putting your faith in TCG is no different than an invisible man in the sky.

Nah...just inputting some humor. I take full responsibility for my choices and decisions in trading.
And by the way..who says the guy in the sky is invisible..I saw him last night at Starbucks buying a latte.

Mad Girl, LOUD is risky because of the delisting possibilty and plus I don't like to trade stocks going into earnings. That's why I was "playing" it today for a bounce. It will be interesting to see how it ends the day. If it holds around .60, I think it will move up tommorrow, but get in and out quick. That's why I'm keeping the .595 cent stop on LOUD and see what happens

Yes I see your point and I read about the de-listing and the news yesterday about selling to instut.investors. All very educational to me. Thanks!

I have been curious if you still were in GNTA Chart Guru. I almost got back in this morning but americanbulls put that confirmed sell on it and that gave me pause. I am going to get ready and watch, because another trip like the last one (2.20 to 3.29) would sure hit the spot. Good luck, CG.

i actually own some of this garbage! i don't think i am all that concerned. (a). i really do not think loud wants to be kicked from the naz (b). they are making efforts to control costs and get the progress into the stock price, and (c). i took a position in this when it was low and sold 50% of my stake when it doubled therefore what i do hold cost me almost nuthin but time.
so i am ok with holding at this time.

Boilermaker, I do own GNTA and LOUD. MY only two positions so far. Lookin' at OWENQ today though. GNTA is sitting on its MA(500), next resistance will be MA(30) @$2.44. It has been down for 3 days. Looking for a bounce today

has LOUD been de-listed?
englishman26
02-22-2006, 08:38 PM
No it hasn't been de-listed. Yet. But they just announced they're doing a share sale to raise cash. This will increase the float and probably drop the share price.
My position on LOUD is still the same - it could see 0.40 really quickly and I wouldn't want to buy it above that. I probably wouldn't buy it then either.
So much good stuff around at the moment. You could have got CWPC at 4.60 today. AVX looking to go on a run. ITU - great long term play doing a pull back for you at the moment. SIOR if you like your risk/reward a little a bit bigger. POGI has a stored-up 25% gain when it gets going. Lot's of good gold stocks. Damn I could write this stuff forever. Why buy loud!?
I hope I'm wrong and you get your gains. It's actually up 1% in afterhours.

thanks english! i appreciate the advice. Which of those do you think i should take a closer look at. Im pretty happy with what im holding for the week, and im already pretty deep into pogi, as you recall ("here pogi pogi pogi").
englishman26
02-23-2006, 02:28 AM
Well there's little downward pressure on POGI so it's just going to require some patience to get that extra 25%. You might take less than that. It's up to you.
There are so many good stocks to buy it hard to advise people. Different stocks have different risk/reward and different profit timelines so it's always difficult when people as kthat question.
Just time your entry points and be realistic about the timescales.
Wait for ITU to pullback to 32.50. It's very predictable in it's upward motion but sometimes hard to judge exactly how much it'll pullback each time. It's a favorite of mine at the moment.
LAQ is good at any point!
Buy AAUK in 2 days - it'll pullback tomorrow.
Get a big list of stocks you like. Look at the charts and figure where's a good entry point. Wait for it. Then buy it. The easiest thing to do this for is best of breed stocks on an upward trend that do small pullbacks. Look at the chart of ITU. Find others like this. Don't buy on the highs but wait for the upturn after the pullback.
RIMM might be a great buy once it has pullback a little bit more.
I want to buy SUF but it's not acting well. I think it has great potential.
SGU is ok as a trade.
DROOY is interesting. A not great company but a good stock.
