I was somewhat puzzled watching the show and Jim's commentary on the 4th ammendment to the US Constitution. I admit, I did not wait round to see the rest of his comments or in what context they ended up being, however, I was under the assumption that the show was about stock picks and not the commentators "discomfort" with the 4th Ammendement.

This very same 4th Ammendment protects all of us from those who would make up charges just to make our lives miserable or to threaten political enemies.

The Nazi party in Germany and the facsists of Italy would have also not been "comfortable" with the same 4th ammendment.

What exactly was Jim's point? I am sure I am missing something (I hope).

I didn't catch the jist of that comment, but it could be that he was a bit off from inhaling all that smoke from the foam bears he was frying up:o

I have noticed that he has been a bit more over the edge with comments, seems like whenever someone in the media says he is over the edge, he pushes a little bit further, at least that what I have gotten from watching as of late.

Thanks for that perspective. Could very well be showmanship.

Thanks again for replying.

The comment could have been pertaining to the Seagate takeover of Maxtor?? Somebody in one of the regulatory agencies wasn't paying attention when they approved it because they are letting the 2 largest computer hard drive companies become one which almost creates a monopoly. Almost like Ford buying GM but without Chrysler, Toyota, Honda and 20 other auto companies out there.
