Crude-oil inventories fell unexpectedly last week, according to government data published Wednesday. For the week ended April 4, crude-oil inventories fell by 3.2 million barrels, or 1 percent, to 316 million barrels, which was 4.9 percent below year-ago levels, the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration said in its weekly report.
