you should have been afraid 10-15+ years ago when our employers started systematically outsourcing jobs and processes to countries all around the world and solidifying our roots in the global economy. those greedy a-holes who were giddy to sell out their countrymen (and a government who incentivized those actions with generous tax breaks) put this in motion and we can't back out of it now. one world government here we come. :beerglass:

what a bunch of freaking misguided nonsense

those "greedy a-holes" in many instances were chased away by an abusive tax system and regulations that other Countries do not have to adhere to

its sink or swim in a global market

and how much profit have you ever made on a successful trade/investment thanks to those "greedy a-holes" ??

or are you altruistic and not hypocritical in your approach to trading/investing and only profit on products/services that are American made only ??

hundreds of years from now, people will look back at that electorate as one of the dumbest ever, and wonder how they could have possibly been so easily duped.

we've been sold out. almost all our industry has been dismantled and set up elsewhere. we make almost nothing now. i watched for a long time as company executives were cheered for slashing headcount and giving jobs away to less trained, less expensive, people. investors ate it up and rewarded them for stripping jobs away by pushing stock prices upward and executive bonues higher and higher. and the government rewarded it all along. only in this assbackards nation could you cut someone's job and still get a tax break for doing so... and on top of that a gigantic bonus, and THEN, in many cases, still cheat on taxes.

i think 100 years from now, we'll look back at these events as the beginning of the great sell out. the great stripping down of everything that was built here. both idealogical and physical. for some reason, we wanted this to happen... and now we're complaining about it like a bunch of little brats.
