i have about 3-4000 I want to invest for at least 5 years and I think I want to invest in something with high dividends and some potential growth. Let me know what you think.

I like ConAgra Foods (CAG). Currently yields about 5.3% and I just picked some up myself.

I'm thinking about buying some Pfizer(PFE). It has a dividend. The Ex-Dividend Date according to Yahoo is this Feb 8th with payout on Mar 7th. The dividend isn't that large, but I think 2006 will be a turnaround year for them and you should get some decent growth. You never know though.
