What happens to a stock like United Airlines (UAL) thats been in bankruptcy for the past three years? If this stock is purchased at face value before United goes into bankruptcy and it goes into bankruptcy and is moved to UALAQ (Bulletin Board) and now emerges from bankruptcy to posted back on the exchange. Is the share holder holding a worthless stock or does it get converted back to the new offering and a higher price?
