ASTI is in downtrend & i dont see any reason to that it will go to 20 unless the trend reverses. After a bounce it goes lower as you can see the past bounces.

Ascent Solar Receives $28.4 Million in Gross Proceeds As Norsk Lifts Stake to 35 Percent


LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) -- Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. said Thursday that Norwegian aluminum company Norsk Hydro ASA has increased its stake in the company to 35 percent.
Norsk's purchase of 2.3 million shares and 1.7 million Class B warrants resulted in $28.4 million in gross proceeds. Norsk exercised an option that Ascent granted in June 2007.

Ascent, a solar-power company, expects the deal to close by March 31. Norsk will then hold 35 percent of Ascent's outstanding stock and Class B warrants.

Norsk, the company's largest shareholder, bought 1.6 million shares from Ascent in March 2007. Ascent also granted the company two options to purchase additional shares of stock and warrants. Norsk exercised its first option in August 2007, after which it owned 23 percent of Ascent's stock and warrants.

In premarket trading, shares of Ascent Solar added $1.74, or nearly 15 percent, to $13.70. The stock closed Wednesday at $11.96.

Oh well, I least I'm not the only one. I was sitting tight, saving my ammo for a pop in TMA, then when I did get in at $1.70 it tanked the next day, (thank God for tight stops). :argh:

I got in ASTI on monday at 8.95, another one to look at with this solar momentum is AKNS, may get another couple dollars out of it's recent news for a quick profit.

any parabolic SAR pro's want to answer whether or not a buy signal generated from it is even worth considering at the time since the markets hardly in an uptrend? maybe i just got lucky and need to educate myself a bit more.

i filtered for the that signal along with price crossing above MA50 and the results this morning are stunningly present

ASTI looks like its going to test 16 which im surpised about. thought for sure this would be setting up a good short for those that can
