So I got a Fortune cookie today that gave me a good chuckle, maybe it's a sign I need to find something else to do.

"Don't worry about the stock market. Invest in family."
(Lucky Numbers: 38, 14, 36, 44, 8, 1. None of mine.....:?)

I'm pretty young though, I'll go with the former and put the latter off for a decade or two.

So you're giving up family?

No, no just a figure of speech. I know my priorities when it comes down to it. The irony of getting that fortune on this day of all days was hilarious though. One of those you had to be there moments.

K, I get it. Trust and faith go out the window when you can win or lose a fortune off hours due to backroom deals on some days.

Oh, and don't forget about slow death. Cramer and all stock pushers never say more than get long term or get defensive....and stay in the game. Right, with less and less capital as the losses mount. Losing cash value because of inflation seems like a good idea vs. having that cash invested in stocks that are dumping, some in dramatic ways.

I tend to do the opposite of what they say.
