Cramer said dump it last week. Anyone still holding on to this dog?

I still have it...although now that you mention it, I might sell now. I've been waiting several months for this to finally become profitable. I'm currently up 4% and can be happy selling and moving on.

Still holding and now things might finally be looking good...

Hopefully there will be a lot of people buying in tomorrow to help boost this stock up...so I can finally get back to my entry. The company always seemed like it was going to do better than it has. I guess we'll see what happens. I don't anticipate a sell-off, unless the bears are holding.

Never bought it simply b/c it was the epitome of a Cramer pump 'n' dump. I don't like to chase stocks and I never would've had a shot at this one. I wouldn't buy it now either. Too many people know about it. Once Cramer announces a stock it is dead and you need to think about scratching it off your list. You can't bring anymore attention to a stock after Cramer. When it's showcased on his show every idiot knows about it and the money flow is over.

Well it's up a fair amount in after-hours. I wouldn't recommend anyone on this forum to buy-in. I don't know if this is going to be a stable rise or if it'll fall under resistance. At any rate, I'm down 5% and wait for tomorrow.

I bought in a little after the hype, after the first pullback on the first of October. Knowing what we know now of Cramer's "hype" I would have waited longer to gain entry.

When I started watching Cramer last year, I could not wait to buy "cpst." Since Cramer won't discuss Trailing Stops, I held on and on and on and on as the stock headed south. Cramer almost daily pumps had to be right. To bolster myself, I started hanging out at Yahoo's Message Board on the stock with the others in self-denial. Finally, after it fell from $4 to $3 I dumped out and have been playing catch up ever since. I call it my "Capstone" moment :). I learned about catching a Falling Knife, Cramer's weakness, and Yahoo Message Boards! He did the same with Google and Sirius, incidently, but I was watching for another "Capstone" moment, and viola! It is the reason I dumped out of "jdsu": I smelled "Capstone." With JDSU, fortunately, I bought low, set a Trailing Stop and ditched. Strangely, once and only once, Cramer said it would peak around $4. How his homework knew this, beats me. He can make some clear, right-on statements I am picking out more and more from his nightly fluff to fill 45 minutes. Learning how to find the diamonds in his fluff pays off.

One other thing with Capstone: it is in perpetual "Its big day is right around the corner."

Is today that "Big Day?" I'm finally profitable with CPST. I'll set my stop-limit order to secure my small profit. Anyone else still holding? I have no idea what's going on here...I don't see any recent news that justifies the 10% jump today.

Hehe, this is not a complaint of any sort, but why is it that Mad Girl and I are attracted to the same stocks every single time. I can only assume that you're doing as well, if not better than me in the market. It sure has been a great ride so far.

Well lets just say Im doing *better*. Ive got a DCN history, due to ignorance and holding SIRI in da house of pain, but since those buys, I have done better.

BCON being of of them, and CHTR too!

I hear that. I lost a good chuck in DCN as well. SIRI on the hand was really good to me. I bought it about 14 months ago when it was like $3. Since it was cycling up and down $.50, I thought I just follow the cycle. All of a sudden it takes off. I think I ended up selling $9. ESLR was another one of my dumb luck speculations. Haven't had one since.

This thread is a couple years old, but i've been watching CPST the past few weeks

Very strong

They're selling microturbines to the oil industry

this could soar again

If you have not been watching "CramerLand" since he went all out for Capstone, let me give you a history on this stock and Cramer:

Cramer was about six months into the show, and he pushed the heck out of this stock as it went ever farther south

I was a real newbie and held on and on and on...

Wal-Mart then was testing the company to use at its stores

The History Channel or some such channel featured a segment on the stock

It seemed like a winner

The stock taught me what a Falling Knife was, and though I respect the heck out of Cramer, you best do your own independent homework

Cramer can blow it

He finally just stopped mentioning it, but it is still my favorite stock Cramer messed up on

It is never mentioned by him as one of his worse mistakes
