I'm Mike, and as you can probably tell from the screen name, I live in SW Florida. I'm a noob to trading, and have been spending most of my time here just reading. There's a lot of great info and bright people here it seems, so I'm going to pretty much keep the eyes and ears open and the mouth shut. There's a TON of learning yet to do!
Right now, I think 'swing trader' is the catergory that best suits me. I'll hold something for a few days if it looks like it'll kick up, unless it's something I want to stay in for the long term (or it turns into a zombie, like the SWHC I bought... :( ). I try to hold no more than 4 stocks at a time.
I currently work as a low-voltage electrician, installing pretty big A/V, security, lighting and automation systems in higher-end residences. I'm looking to go back to school in the spring semester, and will most likely be studying finance.
