Didn't want to be a pig and got out at 4.55, and as usual, not patient enough. Wish I would have traded something else for GNTA.

Thanks for the recommendation, Guru. I'm up 3% with DCN, do we have any predictions to where this will likely go? I haven't developed a good sense of buying at the bottom and it's totally affecting my profits.

DCN has some resistance around $5 but it also may fill the gap down from 1/28/2006. Once it clears that hurdle, it can run to $6.50. Remember, I want my 10% and I'm out. My average cost is $4.70.

newb question, but when u guys talk about averaging down, i am guessing here, but is this what you are doing?

1. buy a stock you think has bottomed out. example 100 @ $4.50
2. it ends up dropping some more to lets say 100 @ $4.00, so you guys buy more.
3. average down = your avg purchase price of 200 @ $4.25.

that is my conclusion, let me know if that is right or wrong.

Meth, that is absolutely correct. However, averaging down is very dangerous and most experts do not recommend it. Do not keep buy a stock that is tanking. I rely on my crystal ball to guess the bottom of a stock. Unfortunately, I tend to jump the gun a bit like I did with DCN and have to wait a week for a move up. IMMU was a a strong buy when it formed a doji 3 days ago and see what happened today. So most of the time I don't average down. I have a watch list and I buy a stock when my indicators show strong signs that the stock will go higher.

Keep an eye on ONXS
