Risk in Roths?

Does anyone play risky stocks in Roth funds?
I have recently thought about putting a little money from my Roth into a penny stock. Is this a very bad idea, even if it is a couple hundred bucks or so?

I do. Not the penny stocks though. I dont like them.

I have my main retirement funds in my company 401(k).

This is my sandbox to play with stocks. It's still my money, any gains I can muster is tax free when I turn 59.5
