Look for bqi to continue to run as the TSX listing approaches anyday. The joint venture should be here within 6-12 months as well. Great buying opportunity.

I don't think I would short this here, although if I wasn't in I don't know that I would get long here either until I saw the market and the early moves. On the 3 minute we are right on a little support, below the 50sma (at 3.58) and above the 200dma (at 3.42), stochastics leaning towards oversold. On the daily the 50sma is crossing down through the 200dma (at 4.06) and stochastics leaning towards overbought, but the RSI and OBV are both uptrending and absolute volume was twice the avg daily volume on an up day.
I am biased to the upside, but I may be less than objective since I hold the stock (with a small profit) and the apr5 calls (right at my avg price). I would love to see it retrace up to it's 200dma tomorrow, but it would take a lot of volume to get there.

what concerns me is that from my point of view, the market still looks very bearish from here.. even with todays run. it doesnt seem like the market has enough support behind it and id rather be short on most picks right now.
one of the great things i like about shorting bqi here is that if you look at the 14 period rsi, it looks like a possibility that rsi breaks 50 and we have a nice bull rally but if you take a closer at the 2 period rsi, its above 96
also when you take a look at its macd.. its trading under the 9 minute ma and under 0
it did look like it had momentum earlier on but wasnt sustainable..
however one thing it does have going for it is that its short term kst broke its kst ma today.

Look at the RSI(2) trend. RSI(2) is an effective, but tricky little beast. How many indicators does one need? By the above post, you are suggesting a confirmation first?

Sorry for this newbie question, but what is an RSI(2) trend?

Derrek, by checking your managed account...nice results so far. What system are you using?

I really don't know what sort of system my money manager uses.
I only know they have lots of years experience.
Annyway I can't help you out with this, maybe you have to contact my moneymanager directly...
Just pm me or give me a mail and I'll give you the adress.
Annyway can you tell me what that RSI(2) trend means?

By posting a link to your managed account, I assumed I would get a reference to your "money managers".......
Thanks for the offer, but I have several accounts allready.
If you are not sure what strategies your "managers" use, I'm not sure if my RSI(2) explanation will help. No offense.
Plot the RSI(2) and look for any divergences between the indicator and price. Hope that helps.
Anyone else want a stab at this?
No offens taken, I'm in this forum only to learn some things on stock exchange...
If my money is at a certain point I'm going to take the jump to stocks.
But I'm only going to do it if I have enough learned, so I won't throw my money away.
And I believe I only have one moneymanager who is trading with my money.

this stock is notorious for running rigggggght before some news leaks. how is that not obvious insider trading??? the last 10 minutes alone make me feel like something is going to be released before/at open tomorrow

The other way to look at it (which is more often true in general) is that lots of people believe what you just said and therefore a small rally in a stock turns into a big rally on the belief that "something's up".
It's all just emotion - that's all it is!
